Donald Trump just left his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, after a 5-day break for the Thanksgiving holiday.
For the most part, Trump spent his vacation golfing. He golfed all 5 days.
A friend of Trump’s, Newsmax’s Christopher Ruddy, posted a photo of Trump from this weekend, and suffice to say, Trump doesn’t look to be the picture of health. In addition, Trump is wearing a patch on his arm.
Trump’s health has often been a source of speculation as he has not been forthcoming with information related to his physical health. During the 2016 campaign, after Trump was questioned about his health, he made public a very strange letter from his doctor.
The letter took the president’s typically hyperbolic tone. The letter’s outlandish claims [1] about the state of the president’s health led many to suspect that the president himself may have written the letter. The doctor who the president claimed wrote the glowing assessment of his health admitted earlier this year that the letter was dictated by Trump himself.
Speculation resulting from that admission led to the president having a physical examination administered by White House doctor Ronnie Jackson. Jackson made similarly hyperbolic and outlandish claims [2] about the president’s health that sounded an awful lot like the president himself. Jackson claimed that Trump is in excellent health and not at all obese. This led many people to publicly accuse the report of being false.
After the controversial physical, the president nominated Jackson to head the VA, a post for which he had little experience. That nomination was stifled [3], and Jackson did not end up serving in the post after accusation of inappropriate conduct, including drinking on the job, surfaced.
Twitter had some thoughts:
The grind of the presidency starting to take a physical toll on Trump. Also, some kind of patch on his left arm. He doesn't smoke. https://t.co/qtOpfw7bsi [4]

What is it about overweight, old, wealthy men that makes them so repulsive in photographs? Does the camera really add 10 pounds or reveal the lack of a soul?

Has Trump had some sort of injury/treatment on his left arm? https://t.co/Q1O26m8mP9 [9]

POTUS has a bandage on his arm. Is he sick? Is he capable of performing his duties? He doesn't look very good. Someone should do something. https://t.co/yvaEJF5iHC [13]
