Trump Blames Democrats For Deaths of Children at Border in Disgusting Anti-Immigrant Rant
In the wake of the deaths of two children while in U.S. custody at the border, Donald Trump tweeted today that the Democrats are to blame.
As Democrats continue calls for investigations into the deaths of 7-year-old Jakelin Caal and 8-year-old Felipe Gomez Alonzo, Trump took to Twitter to defend border patrol and blame the Democrats:
Trump tweeted, “Any deaths of children or others at the Border are strictly the fault of the Democrats and their pathetic immigration policies that allow people to make the long trek thinking they can enter our country illegally. They can’t. If we had a Wall, they wouldn’t even try! The two children in question were very sick before they were given over to Border Patrol. The father of the young girl said it was not their fault, he hadn’t given her water in days. Border Patrol needs the Wall and it will all end. They are working so hard & getting so little credit!”

The President’s tweets come the same day as DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen is on day two of a border trip.
Twitter was furious:
The hell is wrong with you?!?!?

The president is heartless and cruel.

Ya know, whether or not he can take responsibility for his actions and not blame others is the definition of a strong man and leader. You never take responsibility and always pass blame to others. You are a sorry excuse for both.

I'm not even American and I'm embarrassed by you…
Good Lord, sir…

Deaths at the border & in CBP facilities is YOUR fault, Mr. Trump. Yours & your handpicked department/agency leaders. For once, accept responsibility. People will think better of you if you would only do that.

Sir, two beautiful children Felipe (age 8) and Jakelin (age 7), died in the custody of your Customs & Border Protection agency. Their deaths could have been prevented. You are responsible as is your Secretary of Homeland Security, Kirstjen Nielsen.

You are pathologically incapable of loving. And THAT is the worst affliction I could ever wish on a human being. I pity you.

This is pretty depraved but also an amazing window into his mind. It’s not that the government bureaucracy has failed or the system is overwhelmed and needs to be changed. It’s that his opponents are to blame. https://t.co/mJqhkUXFnC

Wow, your phone lets you type with blood on your hands? https://t.co/eLAdutETpo

Somehow he manages to be a worse human being than he is a president. And that is astonishing https://t.co/mjGI4Ri3S0
