Donald Trump blasted the Federal Reserve on Monday, and then the Dow continued its plunge causing the worst December for the stock market since the Great Depression.
“The only problem our economy has is the Fed,” Trump wrote on Twitter, after the Dow opened down 338 points. “They don’t have a feel for the Market, they don’t understand necessary Trade Wars or Strong Dollars or even Democrat Shutdowns over Borders.”
“The Fed is like a powerful golfer who can’t score because he has no touch – he can’t putt!” the president added.

Trump has been harshly critical of Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell in recent months — and even reportedly considered firing him — over interest-rate hikes and losses in the stock market.
The Dow fell below 22,000 points on Monday, the latest drop in what has been the worst December for the market since the Great Depression in 1931.
