Donald Trump blasted the Federal Reserve on Monday, and then the Dow continued its plunge causing the worst December for the stock market since the Great Depression.
“The only problem our economy has is the Fed,” Trump wrote on Twitter, after the Dow opened down 338 points. “They don’t have a feel for the Market, they don’t understand necessary Trade Wars or Strong Dollars or even Democrat Shutdowns over Borders.”
“The Fed is like a powerful golfer who can’t score because he has no touch – he can’t putt!” the president added.

Trump has been harshly critical of Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell in recent months — and even reportedly considered firing him — over interest-rate hikes and losses in the stock market.
The Dow fell below 22,000 points on Monday, the latest drop in what has been the worst December for the market since the Great Depression in 1931.
Twitter had some thoughts:
Just shut the fuck up. Seriously: every time President Trump talks about the Fed, the market tumbles. He needs the market to stabilize to save what is left of his presidency: is he so fucking stupid he cannot even manage just shutting the fuck up and doing nothing?

Good leaders take responsibility. They don't shift blame to those who aren't responsible. The President is like a weak egotistical golfer who can't score because he never played the game, but still thinks he's a pro.

You are like a golfer who blames his poor shots on his clubs or his caddy, when the real reason is you can't get you arms past your chubby gut and your tiny hands can't grip the club.

The market(and your 401K) is about to take another hit because the President is throwing a tantrum. https://t.co/XAyLmsrFvs

Reminder: When the stock market was going up, on more than 100 occasions, Trump took credit for its rise. https://t.co/90TFuR4CR5
