In an address to a gathering of hundreds of law enforcement officials and prosecutors in Kansas City, Missouri, on Friday, Donald Trump spoke about his proposed border wall, and got an odd reception from the audience.
Trump said, “And we’re talking about a wall for $15 billion, $20 billion, and I can even do it cheaper, if I had to. And it will be better than anyone’s ever seen a wall. Think of that. You’re talking about hundreds of billions of dollars and you’re talking about a fraction, you’d make it up in a month. A month by having proper wall. You see what’s happening. You see where they’re surging. And our great people are able to easily handle it. Without the wall it gets tougher. But you know what, they still handle it.”
Well, apparently the audience found Trump’s word salad funny, because they started laughing.
Twitter quickly reacted:
Looks a little miffed because he thinks they were laughing at him this time instead of at the joke and he hates that he thought of that. based on micro expressions and what I could hear in the way his voice tightened. he gets the barest gritting of teeth then checks himself ????♂️

The first big lie of Mexico will pay for it has now been replaced by "we make it up in a month" bullshit. When will the #MAGA [3] people finally realize they are being conned by @realDonaldTrump [4]? #HappyHolidays [5]!
