Kellyanne Conway Discusses Trump’s ‘Golden Showers’ at WH Easter Event for Children

Kellyanne Conway said Monday that special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation disproved a salacious allegation involving Donald Trump and Russian prostitutes.

“There was no golden showers,” Conway told reporters on the South Lawn of the White House, referring to a claim in former British spy Christopher Steele’s 2016 opposition research dossier that a tape showed Trump cavorting with prostitutes in Moscow.

Steele’s research was financed by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee, and Trump has indirectly denied the claim, noting in 2017 his aversion to germs.

Conway spoke on the sidelines of the White House Easter Egg Roll and said Democrats will help Trump politically if they continue to focus on claims Trump colluded with Russia, which Mueller failed to find in a report released Thursday.

“They are going to hand this reelection to him. Have at it. I’ll see you for five more Easter Egg Rolls, we’ll have a ball,” Conway said, as two of her children stood nearby.

“It never should have happened in the first place. It should have been enough for me, for the president, for others to say [that] at the highest levels of the campaign nobody was talking to the Kremlin, no one was colluding with Russia, there was no criminal conspiracy, there was no golden showers, there was no Michael Cohen in Prague, there’s no Donald Trump telling Michael Cohen what to say — the BuzzFeed article, the McClatchy article, all big lies that you all retweeted,” she said.

Conway said that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff was wrong to “vomit” the possibility of collusion between Trump and Russians.

“Is he going to apologize for vomiting collusion 50 times a day, 100 times a day for the last 2.5 years and pretending there is still something there? That he has evidence of collusion that Bob Mueller doesn’t?” Conway said.

“The Mueller investigation, the Mueller redactions, the Mueller report, people are going to have to look at that as the legitimate and final definitive investigation,” she said.
