MEOW: Meghan McCain Stuns Joy Behar and Says ‘Your Job is to Listen to Me!’

The View often offers its fair share of on-set drama, and today was no exception during a fairly heated debate over Trump immigration policy and the recent ouster of DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.

Co-hosts Joy Behar and Meghan McCain are not just ideological foes, but they also have similar chutzpah that, during political debates is like watching someone try to force like-sided magnets together only to watch them aggressively repel by following the laws of physics.

It almost doesn’t even matter the context of this clip, but Behar was explaining how the newly appointed acting DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan, has been an advocate of supporting the Central American countries from which the caravans of migrants have emanated. McCain interrupted to make her point about the humanitarian aid (the specifics of which were unintelligible due to cross talk), to which Behar responded “let me finish” and not in an impolite manner.

But McCain appeared to be taken aback, firing back in a rather petulant manner “yeah, part of your job is to listen to me,” after which viewers could hear the studio audience react from the unpleasant and awkward exchange.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg dove on the hand grenade and ensured that the fighting didn’t progress much further than that, but the entire moment was by turns both difficult and highly entertaining to watch.

And you could see in Joy’s face that she was ready to fight.
