Trump’s Sons Got Front-Row Seats for D-Day Celebration and People Are FURIOUS
Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron attended a commemoration of D-Day on Thursday morning at the American cemetery above Omaha Beach.
Trump watched as Macron awarded the Legion of Honor, France’s highest civilian accolade, to five Americans who fought in Operation Overlord on June 6, 1944, the largest air and amphibious military operation in history.
Macron spoke about what D-Day meant for France and the importance of the alliance it consolidated for the post-war world, and he thanked the American veterans in English.
Trump mostly stuck to his prepared remarks. He called the gathered World War II veterans “the very greatest Americans who will ever live” and “the glory of our republic, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

He singled out a few of the D-Day veterans and told their stories. “We come not only because of what they did here, we come because of who they were,” he said.
And Trump also gave a big nod to America’s allies. “Our cherished alliance was forged in the heat of battle, tested in the trials of war, and proven in the blessings of peace,” he said. “Our bond is unbreakable.”
One thing that people noted was that Trump’s two oldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, have front row seats to the commemoration.
Don Jr. and Eric do not work for the government, they run the Trump Organization. This is yet another disgusting show of nepotism for two men who would never have the guts to suit up and join the military.
It is so disgusting to see twiddle Dee and twiddle Dum @EricTrump @DonaldJTrumpJr sitting in front row seats with the other cowards from Trump entourage- not one of those cowards served their country – they just steal from us – @morningmika @RepAdamSchiff @starsandstripes

Which branch of the service were you in? The army, navy, coast guard or marine corps? It's a volunteer commitment and as life changing today was for you, we're sure you served our country.
