It’s Going to Rain and Thunderstorm for Trump’s July 4th Event and People Are THRILLED
Donald Trump’s supersized Fourth of July celebration is tomorrow, and it’s shaping up to be quite the birthday party.
However, it looks like it might rain, and well, let’s just say our “president” isn’t a fan of the rain.
The National Weather Service is calling for fog and clouds during the day with a heat index of 100 degrees. There is a 75% chance of rain with thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. Chances of precipitation increase Thursday evening, with a 70% chance of “numerous” thunderstorms with clouds and some wind.
While there is usually a Smithsonian-sponsored event and a concert broadcast on PBS on the Fourth of July, Trump announced new plans for this year’s celebration, including flyovers and tanks, which he said in a tweet that the “Pentagon & our great Military Leaders are thrilled to be doing.”
The military will be the focus of the celebrations, with a showcase of a variety of weaponry and tanks.

The U.S. Department of the Interior said in a press release that the “Salute to America” celebration will take place on the National Mall and will honor each of the country’s five service branches with music, military demonstrations, multiple flyovers and a flight demonstration.
The events will begin at 11:45 a.m. with marching bands, balloons and drill teams. At 6:30 p.m. Trump will honor “America’s armed forces with music, military demonstrations, flyovers and much more.” A concert on the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol building will begin at 8 p.m. with fireworks kicking off about an hour later.
When Twitter found out the weather forecast, they were thrilled:
