Watch Kellyanne Conway Side With Trump Over Her Husband, ‘Trump is NOT RACIST!’

Kellyanne Conway disagreed with her husband, who said Donald Trump is a “racist,” during an interview on her boss’s favorite cable news network.

During an interview Tuesday on Fox News’s “America’s Newsroom”, the top Trump adviser was asked if she agrees with George Conway in an op-ed that said the president’s attacks on four minority congresswomen have convinced him the president is racist.

“I totally disagree. But I work with this president. I know him. I know his heart I know his actions. I know how much he has helped people of color and I go by what people do, not what other people say about them,” Conway said.

Conway drove home the point by saying she would not nitpick every difference people have with others in their lives.

“Respectfully I’m not going to run around pointing out everybody’s disagreements with the people in their lives,” Conway said. “I sure could. I can point out people’s disagreements with their former spouses, their current spouses and partner, their future spouses and partners. But I won’t do that. And I would caution all those people who asked me to gaggle not to do that.”

Conway’s husband has been highly critical of Trump throughout his presidency, often on Twitter. He snapped at the president again in an opinion piece Monday in response to Trump’s attacks on four minority congresswomen: Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts.

“No matter how much I came to dislike him, I didn’t want to think that the president of the United States is a racial bigot. But Sunday left no doubt,” he wrote for the Washington Post. “Telling four non-white members of Congress — American citizens all, three natural-born — to ‘go back’ to the ‘countries’ they ‘originally came from’? That’s racist to the core.”
