Watch Trump Supporter Shout ‘Go Back to Africa’ to Black Woman in Recently Uncovered Video

Last night at his North Carolina rally, Donald Trump’s supporters shocked the country (and the world) with a racist chant of “send her back,” referring to Somali-born and now U.S. Citizen Rep. Ilhan Omar.

The chant has been widely condemned by people on both sides of the aisle, and Trump made a pathetic attempt to distance himself from what his supporters were chanting.

“I would say I was not happy I disagree with it but again, I didn’t say that. They did. But I disagree with it,” Trump told reporters at a White House press spray on Thursday,

He also claimed that he tried to stop the chant by “speaking very quickly,” and that he “felt a little badly about it.” Some pointed out that he at one point tried to distance himself from “lock her up” chants in 2016, before they became the brand of his campaign.

But make no mistake, this is who Trump and his supporters are.

Take a look at this recently uncovered video of a Trump supporter back in March 2016.

Tony Dokoupil, a reporter at MSNBC at the time, captured the scene on video.

The man, who was not identified, was standing in a crowd outside a Trump rally in Cleveland when he said to an unidentified black woman: “If you call yourself an African-American, go back to Africa. If you’re an African first, go back to Africa.”

The woman comes into view and says repeatedly, “Y’all brought us here.” Additionally, a woman in the background can be heard saying “Go back to Europe.”

The scene devolved into cursing and hateful remarks while a crowd of people stood by and watched. A few can be seen recording the incident with their phones.

And at the same rally in Cleveland, an unidentified man is heard telling someone to “Go to Auschwitz”:

This is who Trump is.
