Conservatives Are Gloating About Peter Fonda’s Death Because He Was Anti-Trump, ‘Rest With the Demons!’

“Easy Rider” star and veteran actor Peter Fonda has died at 79, according to TMZ.

Details on the cause of death are unknown, and a rep for the actor said he had been in and out of the hospital with an ailment that is currently undisclosed.

Fonda’s death comes just after the 50th anniversary of “Easy Rider,” which was celebrated July 14, and a screening was being planned for September.

He was nominated for a best screenplay Oscar for his work on “Easy Rider” and also received a best actor nomination for his part in “Ulee’s Gold.”

Fonda was also anti-Trump, and often spoke out about his dislike of the current president.

Fonda took heat for a tweet about Barron Trump, saying he hoped Barron would be ripped from his mother’s arms, much like what was happening at the border.

Fonda issued a statement of apology after posting that tweet. A spokesperson for the first lady said the Secret Service had been notified about the apparent threat. “I tweeted something highly inappropriate and vulgar about the president and his family in response to the devastating images I was seeing on television.”

But now that he has passed, Trump supporters are showing their true colors.
