Watch Angry Trump Snap at Reporter April Ryan Over Impeachment Question, ‘Quiet, Quiet, QUIET!’

Oh, it’s been a very bad Friday for Donald Trump.

First, his close friend and confidant Roger Stone was found guilty on all seven charges.

Then, Trump faced Republican backlash for openly intimidating witness Marie Yovanovitch during her testimony with a pair of tweets this morning.

This afternoon Trump gave a statement about healthcare and drug prices, and following took a few questions from the press.

April Ryan asked a question about whether Trump’s tweets this morning were intimidating, and Trump immediately snapped at Ryan and repeatedly told her to be quiet.

This isn’t the first time Trump has attacked Ryan.

Last November Trump said, “I watch her get up. I mean, you talk about somebody that’s a loser. She doesn’t know what the hell she’s doing. She gets publicity and then she gets a pay raise or a contract with, I think, CNN. But she’s very nasty.”

Yes, that’s the president calling veteran black reporter April Ryan nasty and a loser.

As far as whether the tweet was witness intimidation, the White House says NO.

“The tweet was not witness intimidation, it was simply the President’s opinion, which he is entitled to,” White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham stated. “This is not a trial, it is a partisan political process – or to put it more accurately, a totally illegitimate charade stacked against the president. There is less due process in this hearing than any such event in the history of our country. It’s a true disgrace.”

In Trump’s full comments deriding Yovanovitch, who he recalled from her administration post in Ukraine during the spring and has now become a key witness in the House Democratic-led inquiry into the president’s alleged executive abuse and quid pro quo deal with the European country, he wrote, “Everywhere Marie Yovanovitch went turned bad. She started off in Somalia, how did that go? Then fast forward to Ukraine, where the new Ukrainian President spoke unfavorably about her in my second phone call with him. It is a U.S. President’s absolute right to appoint ambassadors.”

“They call it ‘serving at the pleasure of the President,’” Trump added.
