Biden Releases Campaign Video of World Leaders Laughing at Trump and It’s PERFECT
Former Vice President Joe Biden blasted President Donald Trump on Wednesday over a video of several NATO leaders mocking the U.S. leader over the length of a press conference which Trump had hosted at the start of the NATO summit.
In a video released by Biden’s Twitter account, ominous music plays as news anchors discuss footage of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and French President Emmanuel Macron discussing Trump’s lengthy press conference earlier Wednesday.
Biden, a 2020 candidate for president, says at the end of the that the U.S. will face a “great deal of difficulty” regaining respect on the world stage should Trump be reelected.
“The world is laughing at President Trump. They see him for what he really is: dangerously incompetent and incapable of world leadership.
We cannot give him four more years as commander in chief,” he added on Twitter.
Trump himself addressed the comments made by Trudeau in the video during a press availability Thursday, calling Trudeau “two-faced,” while adding that the world leaders “weren’t laughing at me, they were laughing with me.”

Some speculated that the recorded exchange between the world leaders was what led to Trump cancelling his scheduled press conference Thursday before heading back home from the NATO summit in London.

Twitter had some thoughts:
This is the best anti-Trump ad I've seen yet. Don't be fooled by the MAGA spin that his base loves this, they're draining the swamp, blah blah. Most Americans, especially swing voters, don't want to be embarrassed by their President. They want America to be respected. https://t.co/998sAcAUwZ

This is really excellent stuff from @JoeBiden. This area of engagement will be among the most important next year and it is great to see him leaning in, and making his case. https://t.co/sCNysZNLaQ

This is going to sting.
And it's going to provoke a not ideal response by tomorrow morning.
I hope the Biden campaign has a shrink on staff to talk about the violent, abusive outbursts of humiliated narcissists.
Because someone's going to bear the brunt and it won't be Joe. https://t.co/S57pB1ZWHA

Fantastic ad. Kudos to the team. Still not my preferred candidate but great work to the consultants. https://t.co/fsfdaeGpfg
