Donald Trump has been left red-faced and a bit embarrassed after sharing the statistics to a poll that showed he would lose to Joe Biden, if the former vice president is selected as the Democratic nominee for the 2020 US election.
Trump shared glowing praise about himself on Twitter, claiming that he has a 95 per cent approval rating and an overall approval rating of 51 per cent.
Approval Rating in Republican Party = 95%, a Record! Overall Approval Rating = 51%. Think of where I’d be without the never ending, 24 hour a day, phony Witch Hunt, that started 3 years ago!

The poll that Trump is referencing appears to come from a poll conducted by Quinnipiac University [2], which shows that 92 to 95 per cent of Republican’s do approve of the job that Trump is doing but appears to have slightly inflated his overall approval rating which is only at 43 per cent.
As always with Trump, facts and figures aren’t really that important (to him) so playing loose with the actual numbers is to be expected. However, Trump should have really read more of the poll.
As Biden would point out to the president, the poll shows that Biden is now in the prime position to beat Trump in 2020 and currently has a seven point lead over him.
This same poll has you losing to me by 7 points. https://t.co/cbwKoCbW7b [3]

Indeed, it would appear that Biden is now the prime front runner for the Democratic primary, with another poll released by IDB/TIPP showing that Barack Obama’s old running buddy has a five point lead over the president, making him the only Democrat who could beat the president, at this time.
National General Election:
Biden 50 (+5)

Trump hasn’t responded to Biden’s clap back but if this is anything to go by the 2020 election is either going to be fascinating or an utterly depressing thing to witness.
