Trump Tweets (Erroneously) About Death of Kobe Bryant Even Though the NBA Star HATED Trump
Donald Trump on Sunday weighed in on reports that NBA legend Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash, calling it “terrible news.”
“Reports are that basketball great Kobe Bryant and three others have been killed in a helicopter crash in California,” Trump tweeted on Sunday afternoon. “That is terrible news!”
The tweet came just hours after multiple news networks confirmed the 41-year-old All-Star was among five people killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, outside Los Angeles, earlier on Sunday.
So Trump was wrong about how many died in the accident but facts aren’t exactly Trump’s forte.

Local officials said the crash took place before 10 a.m. on Sunday morning, according to The los Angeles Times. The helicopter had reportedly been traveling amid foggy weather in the area before it crashed and was engulfed into flames.
It must be noted that Kobe Bryant was no fan of Trump, just take a look:
A #POTUS whose name alone creates division and anger. Whose words inspire dissension and hatred can't possibly "Make America Great Again"

Rep. Adam Schiff, a Los Angeleno, tweeted the right way:
I join the rest of Los Angeles in mourning the tragic death of Kobe Bryant, his daughter, and others.
One of the greatest basketball players of all time, Kobe had a grace and athleticism unmatched in the NBA.
My prayers are with his family and friends, and all Lakers fans. https://t.co/QYT6j4okVi

Many on Twitter told Trump to step off:
Can't this Idiot shut up for just a little while?
(Notice he retweets his own tweet!)
And of course incorrectly has the number killed wrong. https://t.co/Y3Jo6T1b5i

That is terrible news, exacerbated by the fact that you’re still in office.
You don’t respect Black athletes. Keep Kobe’s name out of your lying, racist, mouth, you vile, disgusting, white nationalist, demagogue.https://t.co/juWrDYJQqY https://t.co/SwAAEREXrl

So you finally pause from your rage tweeting to mention that Kobe Bryant died. You are scum through and through.
