11 Cases of Coronavirus Found in TEXAS: Planes Trump Ordered Back Landed in California and Texas

I said two days ago – after the first case of non-travel related Coronavirus popped up in Northern California, right next to an Air Force base at which one of the planes from Japan landed – that we couldn’t be positive that Trump literally flew the virus into the United States. I said that if the next case popped up in Texas around the Air Force base to which the other plane flew, it would “prove” that Trump did literally open the door to the virus.

Well, I can’t “prove” anything in this situation, but …

Eleven people in San Antonio just tested positive for Coronavirus.

This is what happens when you don’t listen to experts and do what you want as president. The experts told Trump to leave the patients in Japan until the sick were well and the danger had passed. He did not. He literally ordered the planes to bring people home, they carried the virus, and now it is here.

It was coming anyway, it is all over Europe and no one shut the door down from Europe. So we can’t say that the situation was perfect until Trump fcked it all up.

What we can say is that this doesn’t bode well, at all, for getting through this the best we can. It shows us that we must prepare, a lot. Trump will ignore experts if he doesn’t like the recommendation.

This is why the markets are reacting such as they are. They cannot price-in risk when they have no idea the extent to which Trump can make things even worse.

It was always going to be bad, but it didn’t need to be this bad. If you’re scared now, use that fear to battle back and do what you can. Because there is one thing we actually do know. It is on us. Trump’s government cannot be counted upon to listen to the experts.

Peace, y’all
