Did Trump’s Actions Actually FLY the Coronavirus Directly To the US?? It Sure Appears So…

Last night, Trump attempted to assuage the markets (he couldn’t care less about the American people) after they dropped 2,000 points the first two days of the week. Trump believes he can talk his ass out of anything. Instead, his lies, his blame of media and Democrats, and the total lack of preparedness, sent the markets to the biggest single point loss in history today. In one day, the day after Trump’s press conference, the market dove 1300 points.

Trump doesn’t seem to understand that people – especially smart people – have watched him over the years and seen his lies and incompetence. We thus factor it into the danger posed by the Coronavirus.

But now it appears that Trump ignored the advice of his own infectious disease specialists, and his actions in doing so might have actually flown the virus right into the United States. Yes, in a very real way, Trump might have personally been the one to open the U.S. door to the virus.

Chris Hayes set out the facts as to how Trump “may” (it is not proven yet) have done it. It is circumstantial evidence, but extremely strong circumstantial evidence, especially with respect to the area from which the first non-travel related case arose.

Those are your first set of horrifying facts. The American people and the markets understand now that Trump cannot be bothered to listen to the experts, and does what he wants. Moreover, Trump has moved a ton of incompetent people into government in favor of people who are “loyal” instead of being the best at their jobs.

That alone could disturb people and send ripples through the economy. It also can get people killed, directly, as we see.

Right near one of the air force bases where this all happened.

I am no doctor or public health expert, but when someone tells me that the people already exposed to the virus are flown into the United States over objections, and then the first virus shows up right near the runway where the plane landed, that is very compelling evidence.

It is not proof, but it is damned close. The other plane with people coming from China carrying the virus went to Texas (there were two!) If the next case of the virus turns up in Texas – or a second in Sacramento – it would almost prove it.

This virus will spread and there is no doubt it was likely coming to the United States anyway. But it is still very much up in the air (literally) as to how significant the spread will be. Right now, all available evidence seems to indicate that the government under Trump may make the situation worse, rather than better.

This could explain how it was that a press conference meant to soothe worry actually have transitioned people from worry to abject fear. Trump’s order overriding experts might have flown the virus right into the American public. My god.
