The top story on every newscast and on the cover of every newspaper is coronavirus. People are scared, and rightfully so. This virus is deadly, in America, and it appears our government is not taking it as seriously as it should.
For example, today Donald Trump met with a couple of D-list actors who are performing at CPAC.
From NBC’s Shannon Pettypiece:
Meanwhile, at the White House, Trump met today with Kristy Swanson (Buffy) and Dean Cain (Superman) to discuss their play FBI Lovebirds based on the Lisa Page and Peter Strzok text messages (https://t.co/uRuCcgJD9T [1])

Yes, you read that correctly. D-list actors Dean Cain and Kristy Swanson are putting on a play at CPAC where they will read the texts between former FBI employees Lisa Page and Peter Strzok.
Yes, this is real life.
Dean Cain explains how Peter Strzok thinks he's a "Superman." Check out another behind the scenes video from FBI Lovebirds rehearsals.

Mind you, we are facing a potential pandemic.
The New York Times is reporting that Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has told associates that he has received directions from the White House “not to say anything else without clearance” about the potential coronavirus pandemic.
Writing for the Times, Michael Scherer and Maggie Haberman report about recent efforts by the Trump administration to “tighten control of coronavirus messaging by government health officials and scientists, directing them to clear all statements and public appearance with the office of Vice President Mike Pence, according to several officials familiar with the new approach.”
So, Trump is stifling top disease experts and scientists, and spending his time hanging out with loser actors who are putting on a disgusting play at CPAC.
Twitter is sickened:
Sounds like President Trump is busy with those pandemic response preparations https://t.co/63oiGcMPVT [7]

This, to me, seems like a good and appropriate use of time during a crisis. https://t.co/MJTpKNYoy7 [9]

There's a rapidly expanding global virus and the president spent time today with Kristy Swanson and Dean Cain. You could say the world is burning and Trump is hard at work talking to actors. Let's check the archives and see if there's a tweet for that: https://t.co/sOahmP6Izk [19]
