Trump Voters Flooded Iowa Democratic Committee Phone Number to Prevent Reports
Bloomberg is reporting that part of the Democrats’ Iowa Caucus troubles with reporting the caucus results were due to Trump fans. Apparently, the MAGAs flooded the phone number with calls intended to block access to the reporting site where numbers would be tabulated.
President Donald Trump’s fans flooded a hotline which was being used to report Iowa’s Democratic caucus results, making the embarrassing delays significantly worse, a senior state Democrat has reportedly alleged. Bloomberg reports that one of the top Iowa Democrats who was tasked with answering the hotline on caucus night has claimed that people repeatedly called in to express their support for Trump.
This shouldn’t shock anyone. The same party that will forgive Trump for bribing the Ukraine to get dirt on Biden believes that just about anything is fair game to “own the libtards.” If only all their actions would be so benign from here on out. This one could be reversed, and it was done by small timers:
However, the Democrats do bear some responsibility here in that their own incompetence allowed Trump fans to even get the number in the first place:
The calls reportedly came in after people posted photos of caucus paperwork online that included the crucial hotline number. The phone number was being used as a back-up after the app designed to receive voting data spectacularly failed. Iowa Democrats refused to comment publicly on the claim, which Bloomberg reports was revealed in a private conference call on Wednesday. However, the Trump campaign did chip in. “Don’t know anything about that but maybe Democrats should consider using an app of some kind next time,” said Tim Murtaugh, a spokesman for Trump’s campaign.
