Busted: Kushner Firm Built the Website Trump Advertised — Not Google as Trump Promised

Holy Shit. I thought I couldn’t hate these two more. Per the Atlantic:

“On March 13, President Donald Trump promised Americans they would soon be able to access a new website that would ask them about their symptoms and direct them to nearby coronavirus testing sites. He said Google was helping. That wasn’t true,”

Trump stood out in front of the microphones at what we thought was a press conference on where things stood with the testing, and talked about a website that “Google” was building. But it was a lie. THEY were trying to get rich off our disease.

“But in the following days, Oscar Health—a health-insurance company closely connected to Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner—developed a government website with the features the president had described. A team of Oscar engineers, project managers, and executives spent about five days building a stand-alone website at the government’s request, an Oscar spokesperson told The Atlantic. The company even dispatched two employees from New York to meet in person with federal officials in Washington, D.C., the spokesperson said. Then the website was suddenly and mysteriously scrapped.

Mother ffffffs!!

I cannot believe that we stand for this!

I DO understand that the MAGA heads cannot comprehend what is happening right before their eyes. I get that. It is just beyond them. But even the Republican lawmakers in DC – they don’t have the guts to go to their constituents and say: “Your personal lord and savior was just getting rich off you, lying to you, as a two-bit criminal con-man, and he did it during an epidemic.” The generic Republican isn’t capable of making that case to their voters?

Outrageous.

Oh, and they might still be going with other issues, including the test kits themselves. There is far more to settle out.

The full extent of Oscar’s work on the project has not been previously reported. The partnership between the administration and the firm suggests that Kushner may have mingled his family’s business interests with his political interests and his role in the administration’s coronavirus response. The ad hoc nature of Kushner’s task force has already collided with federal laws. Oscar’s involvement deepens Kushner’s ethics and conflict-of-interest problems.”

Let’s make two things very very clear:

One; “Kush” has been getting rich by way of his inside knowledge from the very beginning. This little shit couldn’t qualify for a security clearance, even when the agencies knew damn good and well that Trump needed him to get one – he couldn’t qualify. The agencies knew that of which he was capable. He likely sold intel to MBS and is likely still on the take now. That part is speculation but needs to be investigated.

Two; Trump would never in a million years allow “Kush” to get rich all by himself profiting from the information. If Kushner had his friends’ firm working on the site, and Trump advertised it, then Trump would want a piece of the action, just like how his buddy Vlad does it.

They say that if the money were ever actually properly accounted, Putin would be listed as the richest man on earth. Putin doesn’t make the money himself, he bestows favors upon others who make it and demands his cut, maybe 50%, maybe more. Trump would do exactly what Putin does. You know it. I know it. And the Republicans know it.

I am not buying the argument that all the other Republicans are currently on the take, too – plenty are, but not all, and this has to start getting out.

The nation and the economy are dying, and these two are figuring out how to use the White House to make money.

Peace, y’all
