Jared Kushner Is Holding Up Virus Task Force Action Until He Has Time to ‘Research It’

This is one of the harder to believe stories coming out of the White House concerning the coronavirus.

The task force headed-up by Mike Pence wants to move forward on needed action to slow down the disease. However, even though Jared Kushner has no formal role on the task force, he wants to put off such action until such time as he’s had to research the disease:

Politico reported Wednesday that there’s no progress on acting about the virus because they’re waiting for Kushner to learn everything. Kushner isn’t a doctor, nurse, medical professional of any kind, nor is he an economist, and it’s unknown if he even took an economics class in college.

Kushner is a guy who barely got into Harvard, it took a million dollar donation from daddy to do it, and has no specialized knowledge – as stated above – and apparently is attempting to catch-up on the net as to everything needing to be known instead of oh… simply following the advice of the experts that do sit on the task force.

“There’s no deadline for a decision, but one of the people familiar with the talks said the task force will not give [President Donald] Trump its final verdict until Jared Kushner, the president’s senior adviser and son-in-law, finishes his research and comes to a conclusion himself,” said Politico.

So it looks like Jared is effectively in charge of the task force and presenting findings and recommendations to Trump. It sounds like it. If Jared is the last person to gather the findings and present them to Trump with a recommendation, we may as well make Jared the head of the force. Of course, if Jared were to be named the official head of the task force, who would Trump blame if it all goes wrong? He cannot fire Jared.

We are in a world of trouble, since nothing in the article seems to indicate that Jared feels any need to rush the process, nor does the article indicate that Trump will do his own interviews of experts and learn the recommendations for himself to independently make conclusions outside of what Jared recommends.
