Prince Eric Brags That His Father Is ‘Incredible’ and ‘Inspiring’ — Americans are Disgusted

Let’s establish one thing here, we live in a dictatorship, or if one wants to be more romantic – a kingdom, because stuff like this only happens in dictatorships and kingdoms:

Take a close look at the top of this picture, and see if it disturbs you as much as it does me.

See? It is “the president’s” not the “CDC” – and there is a picture of “White Palace” on the bottom. Go to Canada, see if it says “The Prime Minister’s Coronavirus Guidelines,” or Germany and see if it says “The Chancellor’s Guidelines.”

Nope. They don’t. Because those are democracies, and democracies are run by the citizens. Thus, we the citizens would say “CDC Guidelines” –  if we had a democracy, we don’t have “The President’s anything,” … in a democracy.

But we live in a … kingdom

And Prince Eric would like you peasants to know that it is fcking amazing that the gout-ridden King has the stamina to stand up there and go “freakshow” on all of us, every. single. day., but especially this day, at a press conference announcing gut-punching expectations.

LOVE ME, DADDY!!!

As someone who has to watch these press conferences, I can assure you, the single last thing they are is … wait. Yes, I agree with the prince. They are very inspiring. They are inspiring my wife to file for divorce, they inspire my dog to hide under the bed because he gets scared when I yell, it’s inspiring my 12-year-old to roll her eyes twice a minute instead of just the usual once, and it’s inspiring me to near breakdown.

But others are inspired, inspired to write the prince and doth protest!

I cannot decide if the one below is snark or not. This man will be reviled like Stalin, so long as he keeps the body count lower:

A MAGA head on Twitter said that these press conferences were like the modern-day FDR fireside chats. But as I recall, FDR told the American people that they were the strong ones, “The only thing we have to fear …” whereas here we have the king telling us that he gives himself credit for getting through it all so perfectly.

And since we’re a kingdom, we have our own plague to deal with.

The king is benevolent:

I don’t know why, because it is the death and suffering that is truly staggering right now, but the “The President’s Guidelines …” and Trump insisting his signature be on the checks is really really bothering me. I think it’s because I am afraid that these are signs of another disaster just around the corner, to go along with this one. The “king” could become more of a reality, and less of a joke.

The only vaccination for a king is pitchforks and torches, at the ballot box … that I’m not positive we’ll get to …

****

Peace, y’all
