Well, at least the news as to how to handle isolation protocols with respect to an epidemic are working. Donald Trump thinks things are going so great that he hasn’t touched his face in weeks … which is odd, but we’ll pick that up on the other side:
Trump met with representatives from the airline industry, which is actually the right thing to do and we sort of give him sort of props for “sort of” doing the right thing:
“I think it’s safe to fly,” he said. “We have closed down certain sections of the world, frankly… Yes, it’s safe.”
“We’re talking about very small numbers,” Trump said of COVID-19 cases. “For the most part, the media has treated us very fairly, which I appreciate.”
Trump mentioned that good sanitation, washing hands, etc, is critical and then appropro of nothing said that he had not touched his face in over a week, which I suppose we should consider a loss in his shoes, even if we might think of it as an opportunity.
Trump then drifted into an area that can’t be tosses aside so easily, one having to do with the response and the test kits/process left by Obama.
While speaking in front of cameras at the White House this Wednesday, President Trump threw blame [1] at former President Obama for the slow and problematic rollout [2] of coronavirus testing in the U.S.
“The Obama administration made a decision on testing that turned out to be very detrimental to what we’re doing, and we undid that decision a few days ago so that testing can take place in a much more accurate and rapid fashion,” Trump said.
Your guess is as good as mine on how a decision on “testing” could turn out to be very detrimental to something Trump is trying to do for a completely different test for a different virus.

So is he saying he forgot he dismantled Obama’s response team, cut funding for CDC and closed response centres in other countries that would have slowed or even stopped the spread we had the testing centres and test kits, Trump closed them guess he forgot but we remember https://t.co/J6EvvzCXLi [10]

Deeeeeeeep State stuff here. In 2008, Obama operatives set forth a plan to ruin Trump’s plans to test for a yet public virus in order to thwart his presidency. https://t.co/ORqFJYKhDh [12]
