GOP’s New Desperate Plan Will Get Chinese Americans Killed and Absolutely Enrage China

WOW, the GOP’s desperation in getting a pivot to take the blame off Trump has taken a dark turn. Political tool Martha McNally must have been given the “grave” task of assigning blame to others, including an organization that attempted to HELP us – the WHO, while also laying blame right at the foot of China, because “communism,” that’s why. According to Politico:

“I’ve never trusted a communist. And their cover-up of this virus that originated with them has caused unnecessary deaths around America and around the world,” said McSally, who is up for reelection this fall. “The WHO needs to stop covering for them. I think Dr. Tedros needs to step down. We need to take some action to address this issue. It’s just irresponsible, it’s unconscionable what they have done here while we have people dying across the globe.”

That quote might well just get an innocent Chinese-American killed. That is reckless, which might as well be the new “R” in front of the GOP pols’ names. “Reckless.” They have been the most reckless party in two generations since at least January of this year.

We haven’t even done an investigation of our own mistakes and errors, and she’s ready to blame all this on China? She is hoping that Republicans forget that our president – the one she is NOT calling on to resign – had intelligence briefings all through January and February while calling it a “hoax.” Trump also gives himself HUGE praise for “blocking entry from China” as the best decision ever made by a U.S. president. So, which is it, did China cover it up, or did Trump save the nation? It cannot be both!

And then the WHO needs to … what? What was the WHO supposed to do? Our country had the ability to ask the WHO for some of their highly reliable tests (Trump called them “bad”) but never did ask for some – they were available. I am really not sure we should be pounding on the WHO. Notice that McSally never actually accused the WHO of any “thing” – she just said they covered for China.

But then there’s this:

Earlier this week, Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) called for a congressional probe into the WHO and indicated that perhaps the United States should withhold funding for “helping Communist China cover up” the ramifications of the virus. McSally agreed that “we need to look at addressing the WHO as well.” She also said U.S. debts to China “should be forgiven, as a minimum.”

She acts like we owe China $150! At a “minimum!” Does she have a fcking clue what that would do to the world economy and peace?

According to Google:

The U.S. debt to China is $1.07 trillion as of December 2019. 1 That’s 16% of the $6.7 trillion in Treasury bills, notes, and bonds held by foreign countries.

McSally thinks we should “write-off” 1 trillion dollars owed to China! Does she want a war on top of all of this?

Of course not. She wants the heat off of Donald Trump and is willing to risk Chinese-American lives, and our international standing all to get that heat off him. Donald Trump has filed for bankruptcy at least four times, but banks don’t have militaries. So even though Trump would have no ethical problem with saying: “We’re writing it off,” he would have a problem with the Chinese navy sailing toward our Pacific coast.

Not to mention that it would send the U.S. credit rating so low we couldn’t buy a car.

These people are getting more dangerous by the hour.

Peace, y’all
