MAGA Hypocrite Trump Says You Shouldn’t Get to Vote by Mail, That’s For People Like Him

Donald Trump was asked today about election security (it flowed from a question about a Wisconsin judicial election), and whether he would favor vote by mail given we’re in the middle of a damned pandemic. Trump made it extremely clear that he did not believe in a vote by mail because it is not safe, anything could happen with ballots going out by mail, so he says. (Meanwhile, nothing has ever been tampered with when people walk into the voting booths never had ballots stuffed or not counted on the other end). That was the essence of his answer.

But once again, as he so often does, Trump is talking about what he wants “others” to be forced to do, not what he wants for himself or “his type.” We know this for a fact because rather than take a trip in his flying mansion to Florida to vote in person, Trump is voting by mail.

And

Exactly right.

We the people cannot just vote by mail because that is a privilege for those who can afford it – those who can convince a county clerk to issue an absentee ballot. (Unless you live in an enlightened state like Washington, where we used to vote while eating dinner, and put the ballot back in the “no stamp required” envelope, seal it, and set it out for tomorrow’s mail – like civilized people).

People aren’t real happy about the dichotomy in Trump’s position.

And this is perfect:

Yes. of Trump won’t allow a vote by mail because it facilitates cheating. So can we presume that he is voting by mail so that he can cheat? I believe we should be allowed to ask. Why should he be allowed to vote “by mail” as an absentee (when he clearly has the means to be there), while we aren’t allowed a vote by mail due to concerns about cheating?
