Rep. Hakeem Jeffries Calls on Trump’s Cabinet to Consider 25th Amendment After Yesterday’s Press Conference
Yesterday’s press conference wasn’t the most insane Trump press conference, it is impossible to ever say one clears a bar to that degree. But it was certainly one of the most insane. Trump took to the podium with nothing to say. He rambled and mumbled, spouting ridiculous numbers that have no meaning, such as “We issued 24.5 million N-95 masks …” and attacked Democrats, particularly President Obama, telling the nation that we had “no medical” at one point.
More evidence:
Trump: "While we mourn the tragic loss of life, and you can't mourn it any stronger than we're mourning it…" ??? Even with mourning, for Trump it is a competition. What is wrong with this guy?#TrumpYoureKillingMehttps://t.co/LDQHnlTiDQ— J. StormoGipson, MD (@JStormogipson) April 19, 2020
It was a ridiculous enough spectacle that Hakeem Jeffries, the rising House star from New York, chairman of the Democratic Caucus, and impeachment team member, called upon the cabinet to consider invoking the 25th Amendment.
Dear Cabinet Officials:
Today’s #coronavirus briefing went from bad to worse.
Deeply troubling.
Some people are saying it may be time to invoke the #25thAmendment.
Thoughts?

The 25th Amendment contemplates removing the president from office because he lacks the mental capacity or physical health to discharge the duties of the office. It takes a majority vote from among the Vice President and the cabinet to start the process. It is quite an incendiary charge for a major politician to publicly question a president’s fitness.
But not enough people are talking about Trump’s fitness to hold office. If everyone in the nation were forced to sit down and watch every single one of his press conferences or rallies, most people would have such concerns, even Republicans, though Republicans might well choose to keep their mouths shut about them.
The people that do watch them fully and have some expertise have serious concerns:
Trump has the Dark Tetrad (A-D):
A. Antisocial Personality Disorder (Sociopath/Psychopath)
B. Narcissism
C. Machiavellianism
D. Sadismand:
E. Chronic & Severe Drug Abuse (chronic, intermittent, widely dilated pupils)
F. Progressive Dementia
G. Probable Small CVAs (Strokes)— Dr. Jack Brown (@DrGJackBrown) April 19, 2020
In watching each of his news conferences, it’s impossible not to notice that he begins each news conference out of breath, and slowly gets a little better throughout the news conference.
I suspect he has CHF and his doctor visit was for edema. It explains his respiratory stress and makes sense given his diet. He's definitely mentally ill. He's sociopathic and homicidal.

Thank you Congressman. We are losing so many Americans each day and Trump is doing nothing but tweet and hold his daily campaign rallies. We need you all to speak up.

If we only had an independent and thorough medical review, and an independent and thorough financial review, something that was assumed with every other president, we might well be able to protect ourselves. But the Congressman likely knows it’s far too late now to be talking about the 25th Amendment. Whatever the underlying condition or combination of symptoms Trump might have, the MAGAs love it. His approval ratings are the same today as last April, 46% approval.
I am afraid no one is going to save us from this. We are going to have to bust through the obstacles he places in front of us and vote him out.
****
Peace, y’all
