Trump Interrupts Coronavirus Presser to Brag That He’s #1 on Facebook

Let me be very clear so we can hold off on all the emails. I am about to blast Trump’s presser through a wall, and yet I am well aware that the people alongside Trump (excluding Bill Barr) are fine American citizens, including military, career civil servants, and they are simply doing their job. At least half of them have to be humiliated standing up there having to hear this.

That being said, pound for pound, this press briefing was a far bigger insult to our intelligence and our empathy than any thus far, and I am damn well not the only one who knows it:

Yes, that is George Conway making fun the media who noted “Trump’s new tone” yesterday – which we noted went away fast as he phase-shifted into “real Trump” in the same press conference.

And yes, we had to endure hearing the brag about being number one on Twitter and/or Facebook, as there is disagreement on which he bragged about at which particular time.

I believe the narrative was set by Trump, as a prop. The narrative is “let’s say ‘some people said to shut-down the military.'” Esper is just following orders, which didn’t work for Nazis, so maybe it shouldn’t work here, either.

So that’s settled. But he does have a darker ta … make-up.

That’s mean. And deserved.

Here is something absolutely true. He is not “somber.”

And we do want to point out that we said “somber-sounding” not actually “somber,” and did state he went insane, which was not exactly genius insight on our part. But we are not part of the fool parade.

MSNBC went in and out of the briefing, attempting to cut out the bullshit, Niccccceeee move, Chuck. (I personally think Chuck Todd gets abused far too badly by the left. He’s not one of the “Greats.” But he’s not the satan the left makes him out to be. He’s alright. Let’s be reasonable, people.)

This is the perfect summation, Trump noticed the “Monday Night Football” ratings, and so he now phases Trump campaign props – like 4-star generals, who would be illegal to use in the campaign – and sets them up between questions about coronavirus:

More on board?

Did you know there were some states that “don’t have much of a problem?” Trump just let us know that there were some states that only had “hundreds,” and thus we have to have some flexibility. Has someone not taught him the “yet” principle? Is he like a dog? Can’t see past today?

I am actually going to end now on something smarter than Trump, doing a great deed. Good girl:

Watch this and weep:

Peace, y’all
