Trump Lashes Out at CNN Reporter for Asking About Ventilators, ‘Always a Nasty Question from CNN!’
This is the height of irresponsibility here. I cannot believe he did this, but of course, I have been saying this for over three years now. This one is one of those “special” editions, where it is stunning that it comes out of the mouth of the president of the United States:
Trump mentions some report that people taking a drug for lupus aren't getting coronavirus, then says: "Maybe that's correct, maybe that's false, you'll have to check it out."
— Kyle Griffin (@kylegriffin1) April 4, 2020
Dr. Fauci was standing right behind him as he said “you’ll have to check it out,” directed at the media. Dr. Fauci happens to be the world’s leading expert in infectious disease and would almost surely know if such evidence existed or whether it was just the drug-addled thoughts of a crazed man.
Why isn’t this man getting the mental health treatment he so obviously needs??!!!

Because there is no mental health treatment for personality disorders, nor is there mental health help for degenerative diseases such as dementia, which is what we’re talking about.
There is an N=1 anecdotal story that refutes what Trump just said:
He is wrong. I take the med and I'm currently COVID-19 Positive.

There is one good theory as to why there might be fewer cases with people on medicine:
Maybe because they have a chronic rheumatological disease and frequently have immunosuppression and being the smart people they are shelter-in-place and wear masks unlike their dear leader Donald Trump who is too vain to wear a mask.

Trump was then asked a question about firing Atkinson, the Inspector General from the intelligence community, and Trump riffed for about five to ten minutes about the perfect call and the perfect transcript, without once mentioning that he blocked all evidence coming out of the White House:
“I thought he did a terrible job,” Trump says of Atkinson, the IG who he fired last night.
— Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) April 4, 2020
He called Atkinson a “total disgrace.”
The phone call was perfect just like his response to the pandemic.

We have a convergence now of the Ukrainian whistleblower-impeachment issue and the pandemic now, Trump got so animated, saying “someone should sue his ass off!” (Referring to the whistleblower). He never once admitted that the entire substance of the Ukrainian complaint was substantiated.
Trump just confirmed that the "terrible job" was shepherding the WBer complaint to Congress.
So he confirmed that Atkinson following the law is why he got fired.

Trump just attacked another hard-working member of the civil service in this country. He is delivering an angry outburst of personal grievance just minutes after he was talking about a lot of “death” coming this week.
Steve Schmidt, the Republican strategist just said that Trump has zig-zagged through topics at a frenetic pace, like a man who is losing his grip on reality, implying that Trump is not mentally well, perhaps on the edge of a breakdown.
Oh, here is Trump wanting people to be “gracious” and he actually got called out on it:
TRUMP: I watched what Cuomo said today, and it was fine. I wouldn't say gracious
REPORTER: Why does it matter if he's gracious?
TRUMP: It doesn't matter … I know he appreciates it, but he just can't get the words out pic.twitter.com/YIiHD5E4rJ
— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) April 4, 2020
Trump then lashed out at Captain Crozier, in a gross attack:
Trump justifies firing of Captain Crozier, captain who sounded alarm about coronavirus on his ship, because only about 10 percent of people aboard had the virus. Trump also claims it was "inappropriate" for Crozier to publicize the situation. pic.twitter.com/lt2S4IWx2Z

Based on this response, I’d say Trump hasn’t seen Barron in months:
Trump on how his son Barron is dealing with social distancing: "He's in his room. He's happy, but he's not as happy as he could be. He'd like to be playing sports." pic.twitter.com/dOkG77q6KY
— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) April 4, 2020
This is sickening…all Trump wants is praise:

— Acyn Torabi (@Acyn) April 4, 2020
Here is Trump dismissing Dr. Fauci:
Immediately after Fauci makes an impassioned case that social distancing works, Trump says, "but again, we're not going to destroy our country. We have to get back … we have a big decision to make at a certain point … the cure cannot be worse than the problem itself." 😳 pic.twitter.com/gc6UYdyoxo
— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) April 4, 2020
Trump then lashed out at CNN’s Jeremy Diamond for asking about ventilators:
Reporter: “Do you think it’s time to level with the American people that we may not have enough #ventilators?”
Trump: “…always a nasty question from @CNN.” #TrumpPressBriefing pic.twitter.com/oew0ilAnJi
