Trump Oddly Not Holding Coronavirus Press Briefing Tomorrow After Disastrous Appearance Today

It would seem that we write this near every day, but that doesn’t mean it is not true every day. Trump has gone off on so many tangents at today’s press briefing, and then near the end, literally overruled what Dr. Fauci said pertaining to hydroxychloroquine.

And for the first time in weeks, Trump is not holding a coronavirus briefing tomorrow.

Dr. Fauci had said that there is no evidence yet supporting the fact that hydroxychloroquine provides a benefit versus the risks that the drug carries, Trump near shoved Dr. Fauci aside to disagree, and essentially said that there was a lot of evidence out there (apparently not privy to Dr. Fauci), that it seems like people with lupus don’t get the disease, and then – most shockingly – Trump said HE might start taking hydroxychloroquine, even though he’s never tested positive.

You have a regular heart beat to lose. Hydroxychloroquine can cause ventricular tachycardia, which can kill you quicker than the disease. The amazing thing is that to this point, Trump has said that he has never tested positive, but then said he might take the medication?

Because I think he invested in the drug companies that make hydroxychloroquine. I have strong suspicions at this point.

A mask makes him look bad, (actually better), whereas the medications might make his stock portfolio look better. I want an investigation into whether he owns stock in one of these companies, Teva, and one other company.

He sounds more insane right now than at any point in his presidency:

This has clearly been the most unhinged press conference to date. Perhaps it is because it is the weekend, perhaps Trump has been taking something already. I don’t know, but pinballing between Ukraine, hydroxychloroquine, Joe Biden, and governors that need to be gracious, this has been an exercise in the absurd.

This is a sad day for the United States, that this man is president is both sad and terrifying.

And tomorrow, there is no press briefing on Trump’s schedule. Has someone finally told Trump to stop?

Peace, y’all
