Want to Sue Fox for Misleading Covid 19 Risk? Watch Daily Show’s Video With All the Evidence

We have covered in earlier posts that the Murdochs, Fox and Hannity have had some discussions deep within the bowels of Fox News in New York City about possible liability for their coverage of the entire coronavirus problem, how they downplayed it or outright lied about the dangers on-air, while at the same time knowing or worrying about the real problem. To the extent that Fox might bear some liability, so, too – would Donald Trump, personally – or at least many people so believe.

There would be difficulties in such a suit. There would be the need to prove that Fox owed a duty to any one person, personally, there would be difficulty in proving that any one person relied solely upon Fox’s programming and whether that reliance was reasonable. But one thing would not be difficult. It would not be difficult to prove that Fox’s coverage mislead the public to a shocking degree.

To that end, those folks at The Daily Show provided us a nice bit of evidence collected that might form the body of our complaint. We could call this little video here below “Plaintiff’s Exhibit One” and I would encourage you to share it with any Fox-watching family member who either doesn’t believe that Fox lied to them about Covid-19 (short term memory loss, common with the cult), or any Fox News watching family member that went on to get very sick, was hospitalized, or god-forbid, passed-away.

Because this near proves the case against Fox and its on-air personalities:

One would hope that Fox feels some degree of shame about its programming.

No, they surely don’t. Not yet – but it’s early. We have well over 100,000 more deaths to go if the models prove accurate.
