Americans Stunned After Trump Doesn’t Say ONE WORD About Minneapolis During Rose Garden ‘Press Conference’

Earlier today, it almost seemed like Donald Trump (and his family, on Twitter) just noticed that George Floyd lost his life at the hands of the Minneapolis police, on camera, in broad daylight last Monday.

So last night, after tweeting that once the looting starts, the shooting starts, and beginning his day in a rage about Twitter, Trump thought it to be a fine day for a news conference, but he had to get in a few last tweets prior to the press conference:

Section 230, the section that gives social media and digital platforms immunity from lawsuits. Trump is keeping his focus on Trump, mad at Twitter.

And another tweet clarifying his angry “THUGS” tweet which didn’t really clarify anything:

So did Trump talk to the nation about what the nation is going through at this Rose Garden “press conference?” No, of course not. Trump wanted to talk about the awful Chinese people. China is basically the Twitter of nations. Trump is busy blaming his COVID troubles on China. “The world needs answers from China, we must have transparency.”

Yes, because an American city is ready to burn to the ground. The country doesn’t care about China this week.

He withdrew us from the WHO, furthering his mission to take the United States from global leader to small victimized nation.

He read from the teleprompter like a champion third grader. One could see his eyes focusing and the big breaths and he turned to the other teleprompter.  He had real energy, swinging up and down in the sing-songy voice he does when reading, leaning on the podium with his elbow.

And then Trump didn’t take a single question.

He didn’t say one word about Minneapolis, didn’t say a thing about COVID – except blaming it all on China – and didn’t say a thing about the economy. He didn’t even talk about Twitter!

Chuck Todd hit it right on the head. He seemed basically “afraid” to say anything.

Speaking of Twitter, it exploded.

We don’t know. We are in the midst of a civil war.

That is the takeaway. Might I point out that Jennifer Rubin is a conservative, former Republican columnist for the Washington Post? That is one very strong statement. It might have to lead as the takeaway from the “press conference.”

It is not a press conference when you just read a statement, which is all he did. Trump didn’t want questions about all his tweets.

Yes.

Right.

Exactly.

People are stunned and FURIOUS:

Peace, y’all
