Kayleigh McEnany Finds It ‘Peculiar’ that Biden is Following CDC Guidelines for Wearing a Mask

Does Kayleigh McEnany realize that people end up hearing these answers? As White House press secretary, her answers reflect Trump’s beliefs on each question asked unless she specifically states that she doesn’t know what Trump believes on any given question. (An acceptable answer if not obvious question.)

Today the press asked Kayleigh a question that she and Trump knew would be asked and likely discussed the answer extensively before the press conference. We are speculating, of course, and yet it seems like safe “enough” speculation. One of the very few things that Trump cares about are the answers given to the press. If the press secretary seems anything but aggressively self-righteous, Trump is unhappy.

Kayleigh was asked why Trump criticized Biden wearing a mask to the wreath-laying ceremony. They knew this question was coming. Trump had retweeted an absurd Brit Hume tweet stating that Biden looked silly and perhaps that’s why Trump wouldn’t wear one. It was as biased as it was ridiculously callous.

Her answer? A bunch of gibberish with a ridiculous point. She found it peculiar that Biden never wore a mask “in his basement.”

That answer takes so much self-satisfied arrogance and a ridiculously cynical outlook.

Trump doesn’t wear a mask when having elderly veterans to the White House even though the White House has already had outbreaks of coronavirus within the walls of the military base disguised as a home. Joe Biden doesn’t wear one in his home where he and the wife that Biden has faithfully had since he married her decades ago (as opposed to Trump) have both lived in isolation just as Trump’s CDC recommended and his state mandated.

They find it peculiar that Joe Biden is being safe and following the guidelines. How very typical. I find their recklessness peculiar.
