The Lincoln Project Has New Blistering Ad Against Martha McSally: ‘She Is No John McCain’

Having driven Trump near stir crazy, with midnight tweets talking about moonfaces, trying to destroy Kellyanne Conway’s life, as well as that of her husband George, the Lincoln Project must sense blood in the water, and is now going after the U.S. Senate. They have their eyes set on Arizona, a critical state in that Martha McSally, who had run last time and lost (but was appointed by the governor to fill McCain’s seat) is now up against a true American hero, Mark Kelly, husband to Gabby Giffords, the U.S. Representative shot in the head doing “Congress on the Corner in Tuscon. He is also an astronaut.

The Lincoln Project is perhaps trying to finish McSally off early and start looking for other races that Republicans might previously have believed to have been in the bag prior to the COVID crisis.

They simply ask; “Why?”

Why would McSally work to help Trump and his corporate bailout while small Arizona businesses are shuttered? It is highly effective.

Martha McSally is no John McCain. She’s no Barry Goldwater. Martha McSally doesn’t deserve their seat in the U.S. Senate,” a male narrator reads in the six-second clip.

“Martha McSally has tarnished the strong and powerful leadership that came before her. People like John McCain and Barry Goldwater have worked tirelessly for Arizonans and Martha McSally has only worked for Donald Trump,” Jennifer Horn, co-founder of The Lincoln Project, added in a press release.

One can see similar ads running all over the country as Trump becomes increasingly toxic.

Is it too much to dream? Sweep all of them out? Trump, McConnell? A Democratic Senate and an increased lead in the House?

If we get a fair election, something that I am increasingly worried that we will not get, I do believe that a true vote would yield Democratic majorities in all branches. Perhaps that is why the Republicans just raised 20 million for voter suppression efforts.
