Trump To Give His Convention Speech in Jacksonville on Infamous Day In Black History

There are near no words to describe what is happening in Trump world right now.

The country itself is undergoing a near-miraculous self-examination where the vast majority of people polled are recognizing the racial issues tearing the country apart and the systemic racism that keep so many of our citizens economically down and in fear for their lives.

It has been a surprising joy to watch and participate in as most Americans embrace the Black Lives Matter movement and the demand for change.

Juxtaposed against this “people-led” movement is Donald Trump’s administration. They have done some despicable acts, made some very odd statements, and arranged some bizarre “coincidences” that practically scream that Trump is running on white supremacy.

Were that not enough, we continually remind our readers that in March the NYT reported that Russia specifically intended to intensify racial hatred and animosity in the U.S. as a means of helping reelect Trump.

Against that entire backdrop, we have seen the Trump campaign plan their “breakout rally” in Tulsa, site of this nation’s worst racial atrocities in 1921, with 300 black people killed. We saw Donald Trump equivocate on whether Lincoln actually helped black people, and now the New York Times is reporting that Trump will give his address in Jacksonville on the 60 anniversary of a Klu Klux Klan uprising against black Americans over lunch counters in … Jacksonville Florida:

If certain dates and places overlap once, maybe twice, people can shake it off as a coincidence. When these “anniversaries” and specific cities keep aligning, well, even the New York Times is forced to report on them.

Americans are not impressed and are expressing their rage with direct and heated messages:

This always infuriates me. At one time the Klan was largely made of Democrats. That was back in the days when the poor southern white conservative was a union man against Wall Street. As soon as the conservative whites moved to the GOP, the GOP has had the racists. The seamless line is the conservative whites, not the party itself.

Exactly.

The question is whether Donald Trump intentionally wants protests – probably peaceful – in the streets at the GOP convention so that he can “crush” them with his law and order campaign. He believes it will show his “strength” – which is all he cares about. We know that the dates are no longer coincidences. The question now is whether Trump wants protests in the streets that he can put down with the military.

Disgusting
