Angry and Losing Trump Rages at Fox News, ‘Fox Forgets I Got Them Where They Are!’
President Donald Trump is back to railing against Fox News, assailing the right-wing cable channel of being ungrateful and unwatchable, The New York Daily News reports.
“I was on Air Force One flying to the great state of Texas, where I just landed,” he wrote in a tweet. “It is AMAZING in watching Fox News how different they are from four years ago. Not even watchable. They totally forgot who got them where they are!”

Trump is a regular guest on the morning show Fox & Friends and regularly relies on the network’s evening propaganda, er I mean, lineup, but he’s taken exception to the channel’s daytime programs, which are generally more moderate.

And he was on a lunch break when he arrived in Texas, now considered a pandemic hotspot, in the hopes of raising money in the state, long considered a Republican stronghold. And he’s desperate because this presidential race is a close one, notes RealClearPolitics.
But it wasn’t immediately clear what Fox News segment got under Trump’s extremely thin skin. He’s a regular critic of Fox’s polling, which continually shows him trailing behind Joe Biden in the November election.
Last August, the president ripped the conservative outlet, criticizing it for what he claimed was a lack of loyalty.
“We have to start looking for a new News Outlet,” he tweeted. “Fox isn’t working for us anymore.”
….I don’t want to Win for myself, I only want to Win for the people. The New @FoxNews is letting millions of GREAT people down! We have to start looking for a new News Outlet. Fox isn’t working for us anymore!

Trump received a verbal smackdown from Fox News veteran Neil Cavuto, who’s been with the network since 1996.
“First of all, Mr. President, we don’t work for you,” he said in response. “I don’t work for you. My job is to cover you, not fawn over you or rip you, just report on you. Call balls and strikes on you. My job, Mr. President, our job here, is to keep the scores, not settle the scores.”
And just a few days ago, Trump was clearly rattled by Fox News host Chris Wallace, whose tough questioning left him disgruntled, and he suggested at one point that Wallace should work for more liberal networks such as CNN or MSNBC.
He’s also tweeted that he believes Fox News has gone downhill since the death of founder Roger Ailes, in 2017.
I know better than anyone that my friend Roger Ailes died 3 years ago, just look at what happened to @FoxNews. We all miss Roger!!!

Ailes, an alleged sexual predator left the network in disgrace after nearly two dozen women accused him of sexual misconduct. Maybe Trump is empathetic to Ailes since he’s also faced allegations over this. I don’t know whether Fox News has gone downhill since this man’s death. I always thought it was downhill, bottom-of-the-barrel, line-the-birdcage media crap. And as I write this, Trump is having another Fox News meltdown and tweeting this:
.@FoxNews reported incorrectly what the Federal Government is doing with respect to Portland. We are demanding that the Governor & Mayor do their job or we will do it for them. To complicated to discuss in a Tweet, but bad reporting by Fox (possibly on purpose!). @DHSgov

I’ve included Cavuto’s apt criticism of Trump, which I’m posting below. Enjoy!
