Ex-Melania Pal to Release ‘Explosive’ Tell-All Book That Will Detail the ‘Most Chaotic White House in History’

Looks like First Lady Melania Trump is about to get her feathers all ruffled up again over another tell-all book that paints a less-than-flattering picture of “the most chaotic White House in history.”

The tell-all book “Melania And Me: My Years As Confidant, Advisor, and Friend to the First Lady,” by Stephanie Winston Wolkoff is set for release on September 1, Vanity Fair reports.

Several books about Melania and President Donald Trump have hit the bookstands and the public is eagerly devouring one book especially — “The Art of Her Deal: The Untold Story of Melania Trump,” by Washington Post reporter Mary Jordan. Interest in that book was so high that the publisher moved it’s release date up by two weeks. The book by former National Security Advisor John Bolton, “The Room Where It Happened,” is also a blockbuster, having sold over 780,000 copies in the first week of its release on June 23.

The Trump administration tried — and failed to stop the publication of both books, Mail Online reports.

And Wolkoff’s book looks to be a real barn burner. It savages Melania Trump. A summary appearing on Google books notes it is a “revealing and explosive portrayal of Stephanie Winston Wolcoff’s fifteen-year friendship with Melania Trump and observations of the most chaotic White House in history.

The Daily Beast notes “people with the knowledge of the project say that the content of the book is largely negative and that the manuscript heavily trashes” Melania.

Jordan’s book revealed details about Melania renegotiating her prenuptial agreement after Trump won the 2016 presidential election and addressed rumors about her alleged plastic surgery and her troubled relationship with Trump’s oldest daughter, Ivanka.

Bad feelings developed between Wolkoff and the First Lady when reports showed that Wolkoff’s company WIS Media Partners received $26 million for its work on Trump’s inaugural. The two women were friends when Wolkoff, a New York socialite who’s also helped plan the Met Gala in the past, began working as an unpaid adviser for Melania in the White House’s East Wing. She left in 2018 amid controversy over the payment and her company’s role in the inaugural committee’s spending.

The committee’s tax filings show that WIS was formed 45 days before the inaugural and was paid more than any other vendors. And Wolkoff herself allegedly earned 1.5 million but that amount was apparently split up with her receiving $500,000 personally while the rest of the funds went to other producers involved in the event.

But as the scrutiny continued, Melania broke professional ties with Wolkoff in an email.

“I am sorry that the professional part of our relationship has come to an end, but I am comforted in the fact that our [friendship] far outweigh[s] politics,” she wrote. “Thank you again! Much love.”

Wolkoff didn’t share that view, however, and in a statement, she told The New York Times:

“Was I fired? No,” she wrote. “Did I personally receive $26 million or $1.6 million? No. Was I thrown under the bus? Yes.”

Now she’s working with prosecutors while the Southern District of Manhattan investigates the inaugural committee’s spending and fundraising. Federal prosecutors are focusing on whether the committee misspent some of the $107 million it raised for the event.

But this is probably the controversy du jour for an administration that has been swamped in illegalities. And while Melania appears to be a fairly quiet person, it’s likely she’s far from innocent, as her renegotiated prenup foretells.
