‘I’m Angry and Outraged’: Stephen Miller’s Uncle is Furious at the Trump Admin After His Mother Died of COVID-19

Steven Miller’s grandmother lost her battle with complications from COVID-19 earlier this month after initially recovering from coronavirus in early March, and now Miller’s uncle David Glosser is blasting the Trump administration’s response to the devastating pandemic and his nephew, in particular, Mediaite reports.

“I’m angry and outraged at him,” Glosser told Mother Jones.

Ruth Glosser, Miller’s grandmother, survived the virus but suffered damage to her lungs and neurological system. Her health continued to decline and she struggled with breathing problems and a weakening appetite, ultimately dying from respiratory arrest on July 4. She spent her last months in an assisted living facility and Glosser sharply criticized the Trump administration’s “lack of response” during the interview. He also called out his nephew, who serves as a senior adviser to Trump.

“With the death of my mother, I’m angry and outraged at him directly and the administration he has devoted his energy to supporting,” Glosser said.

Glosser’s grief and anger are entirely understandable, but a White House spokesperson has fired back a heated and callous response. Well, this is the Trump administration after all, where being callous is the order of the day. The spokesperson attacked the Mother Jones story, saying the reporting was “a disgusting use of so-called journalism,” and saying that the claim that Miller’s grandmother died of coronavirus was “categorically false.”

“She was diagnosed with COVID in March and passed away in July so that timeline does not add up at all,” the spokesperson said. “His grandmother died peacefully in her sleep from old age. I would hope that you would choose not to go down this road.”

But Glosser provided his mother’s death certificate which clearly states respiratory arrest as her cause of death and COVID-19 listed as the underlying cause. The White House is stubbornly refuting the official findings, also calling them “categorically false” as well.

How typical. But Trump has repeatedly fought Dr. Anthony Fauci, the respected epidemiologist who is part of the White House’s coronavirus task force, so how is this even surprising?
