First Lady Melania Trump is known to get pretty upset whenever critics of President Donald Trump mention her son Barron, but she’s been notably silent since her stepson, Donald Trump Jr. referenced the teen in a Twitter jibe at former Vice President Joe Biden Tuesday.
Referring to a Rasmussen Poll that reported “only 54 percent of likely voters believe former Vice President Joe Biden is up to the task of debating President Donald Trump,” Trump Jr. tweeted: “In all fairness, Joe Biden is not capable of debating Barron Trump let alone Donald Trump.”
The poll was published by The Daily Caller, a right-wing site.
In all fairness, Joe Biden is not capable of debating Barron Trump let alone Donald Trump.

Trump Jr.’s tweet is doubly offensive to Biden and young Barron, but so far Melania [3] has remained mum.
She wasn’t so quiet in December when she rebuked Stanford professor Pamela Karlan for making an awkward joke about her young son while testifying about impeachment hearings. Karlan had noted that a president can’t be treated the same as a king, but her joke fell flat.
“While the president can name his son Barron, he can’t make him a baron,” she said.
That brought out Melania’s wrath, and she responded in the tweet below.
A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics. Pamela Karlan, you should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it.

Trump Jr. apparently backed her up on this tweet, The Mercury News [5] reports, attacking Karlan by tweeting about her donations to Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren.
I guess this explains why this partisan “scholar” it would go on national TV and try to make a joke out of a 13-year-old child. Obviously no bias here🙄 GTFO with this nonsense already. pic.twitter.com/3QdN1nju4h [6]

Karlan offered an immediate apology by noting:
“I wish the president would apologize for the things he’s said wrong, but I do regret having said that,” she said during the hearing.
But despite having supported his younger brother in December, Trump Jr. thought it was okay to “joke” about Barron’s debating abilities, and Twitter users are responding in the ways that they do best: By owning his pathetic ass. Go Twitter users, go!
Looking forward to it. Vice President Biden, will expose mr trump for the fraud he is. Barron could probably do better than his father😂

You’re quoting the Daily Caller? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That’s a step down from the Batboy rags at the supermarket. Way to bring little bro into the fray.

I think the real question is: can Jr. Feed and dress himself without a nanny?
