Trump Campaign’s December ‘Avengers’ Tweet’ Looks More Humiliating than Ever Now

In December, when the Trump campaign put out a tweet with Trump’s head superimposed upon an Avengers’ character and a message that Trump’s victory was inevitable, it was the type of tweet that we knew wouldn’t age well and we kept that tweet in the back of our mind.

With the Trump campaign in free fall, and things looking dire for the nation, we decided it would be a good day to point out the idiocy of the Trump campaign in light of how they look today, given things have turned hard on Trump’s campaign.

To reset the scene, last December when Trump faced the proceedings in the impeachment brought by the House, the Trump campaign put out a video with Trump’s head is imposed on the body of Thanos, the supervillain from the Marvel Universe. The campaign tweeted a clip from the film Avengers: Endgame which shows Thanos snapping his fingers at the Infinity Gauntlet to make his political opponents disappear. The message attached?

“House Democrats can push their sham impeachment all they want. President Trump’s re-election is inevitable.”

Even back then people mocked the campaign because they couldn’t even do that part right!

In the movie, Thanos snaps his fingers and nothing happens. The Infinity Stones have been stolen by Iron Man. Twitter piled on because the campaign portrayed Trump as the villain! People even said the clip would doom Trump by creating a “jinx” in being the villain, and an incompetent one at that.

We certainly did NOT need the dose of irony that was coming, that Trump as the villain was about to wipe out half the world (in the tweet) and is now attempting to wipe out half the United States trying to make his victory “inevitable.” We are confident that the U.S. is getting a second lesson, even in Trump states, to lessen the number of victims and the irony. He won’t wipe out half, he won’t even wipe out as many as he might have.

The situation is horrific and sad, but we’re not going down without a fight against the SELF PORTRAYED incompetent villain, and the U.S. can make it to next January because Trump’s victory isn’t inevitable, indeed it looks like an increasingly desperate situation for them and it is his defeat that might be inevitable.
