Trump is into “freedoms” and that is why he won’t issue a national mask order. His freedom principle keeps him from wearing a mask – free to look uncaring. That is regrettable because we, too, are into freedoms. We want to be free from breathing in lethal viruses coughed up by the person standing two people in line behind us at the Piggly Wiggly, even when socially distanced. We are learning more and more than they’re classifying this as an airborne, not droplet, virus, and can thus hang for thirty minutes.
NEW: "I want people to have a certain freedom."
President Trump says he would not issue a national mandate requiring masks to be worn at all times. #FoxNewsSunday [1] pic.twitter.com/kIvOCTUwyC [2]— FoxNewsSunday (@FoxNewsSunday) July 17, 2020 [3]
We think this is complete and utter BS. Trump is forcing schools open by using the power of money. That type of “order” isn’t about “freedom” to make choices. He is forcing (or trying to force) schools to open so as to create the illusion of a normal economy, one that isn’t ravaged by an epidemic, so that people should be out shopping, going to restaurants, and movies. We believe that Trump is afraid that every time someone sees as a mask on someone else, that person is reminded that we’re in the midst of the fight of our lives and therefore, spend accordingly and act accordingly.
This is where stupidity meets self-obsession with Trump. It is always about him and he cannot even do that right. Every other nation on earth – seemingly, with the exception of Russia and Brazil (see a link?) – has the virus dropping and is opening their economy. Those nations waited and listened to scientists.
He’s referring to makeup problems they cause him.
I wear an n95 for 12 hours straight running around a busy emergency room.
I wore one lugging tools around for 12 hours straight in a previous career.
Men who don’t wear makeup don’t have problems with masks @realDonaldTrump [4]

We honestly wonder if this is the case, and if it is, the United States will have lost over 100,000 lives to the vanity of a president.
WHAT problems do masks cause?!?!? Total lie.
— cwsoxfan (@cwsoxfan) July 17, 2020 [6]
Evidently they cause makeup problems, and the manly men in the MAGA crowd simply don’t like being told what to do. If a gun fought off the virus they probably wouldn’t want a nationwide issue on guns.
Then why do we mandate seat belts and have stopped smoking in restaurants? Why wear shoes and/or shirts for service? Why dont I have the freedom to drive at any speed limit I want? We have many requirements/mandates/laws in place in order to take care of each other. Common sense.

Above is the best answer yet. It is why we have DUI laws. Yes, it should be your freedom to drink eight beers and navigate your way home, but it is the family you kill while doing it that worries us.
Think of this, if Donald can swallow he’s ego for six (6) weeks this #COVID__19 [8] would go under some kind of control! Now 142,064 deaths in USA just because of he’s ignorance and poor leadership!

This is the saddest thing. We’ll go over 150,000 deaths before next Saturday.
Was it not Trump that said Covid would disappear on it's own? Now it won't disappear if you wear a mask. Does he just make new stuff up every day?

Yes, he does.
Because he knows better than epidemiologists at the CDC. pic.twitter.com/UcbBZepbmN [11]
