Trump to Step in and Get ‘Involved’ With Crazy White St. Louis Gun Couple as They Face Gun Charges

Remember the obnoxious couple who pulled guns on protesters as they walked past their house? Welp, they are in the news again because President Donald Trump apparently doesn’t like how they are being treated, said Missouri Governor Mike Parson, adding that the president plans on “getting involved” since the couple may face criminal charges, The Washington Post reports.

In a pair of separate interviews Tuesday, Trump and Parsons defended Mark and Patricia McCloskey, who went viral after pointing firearms at protesters on the private street outside their mansion on June 28, JoeMyGod reports.

Parson said he talked to Trump right before a coronavirus news briefing and said the president made it clear “he doesn’t like what he sees and the way these people are being treated” in reference to the McCloskeys. Parsons said the couple “had every right to protect their property” and added that Attorney General William P. Barr was also “represented” in the phone call with Trump. He added that he thinks Trump and Barr are “going to take a look” at the case.

“The president said that he would do everything he could within his powers to help with this situation and he would be taking action to do that,” Parson said.

The prosecutor investigating the case isn’t happy that Trump and Parsons are meddling with the situation and is alleging that they are using their political influence on a local criminal investigation.

“It is unbelievable the Governor of the state of Missouri would seek advice from one of the most divisive leaders in our generation to overpower the discretion of a locally elected prosecutor,” said St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner (D) in a statement.

Coronavirus is wreaking havoc in the U.S. but Trump is concerned about a notably racist couple and wants to get involved with that. Seems like he wants to protect this couple’s rights to be racist. And the McCloskeys have a habit of suing people, including their neighbors, former employers, and even members of their own family. They have even reportedly tried to prevent LGBTQ people from buying homes nearby.

Trump could be doing something actually useful, like taking measures to fight the pandemic, but that’s not his speed. Defending homophobic racists apparently is.

Here’s what Trump had to say in the video below.
