Donald Trump hosted what he called a “press conference” again at his club this afternoon, and just like yesterday, he invited a hundred or so of his buddies in from the golf club to watch his “performance.”
And it was a performance, there wasn’t a single substantive thing that happened at this show, other than perhaps the signing of an Executive Order, which people don’t even believe to be legal – a president trying to “order” the tax policies of the United States seems to be an obviously unconstitutional action.
Even with the signing of the bill, Trump offered the pens to the clubbies in attendance.
Trump humiliated the entire country by making a mockery out of what should have been a solemn occasion, a decision as to what to do as a nation to combat the COVID crisis. Instead, we heard people laughing and booing in the background throughout.
When a reporter asked about the constitutionality of the order, the question got drowned out in boos by the “clubees.” It was near peak Trump. When a reporter asked Trump why he kept taking credit for Obama’s “Veteran’s Choice” bill, Trump ended the press conference.
Americans are absolutely furious. We are being held hostage by a child in need of emotional feedback from sycophants. The true pity here is that most Americans won’t see the portion of the press conference that needed to be seen, the hooting and hollering, and Trump avoiding the harder questions. The networks have been doing Trump a favor in killing the press conferences before questions get asked.
Even with a sympathetic crowd clapping and trying to shut down the reporters, the Most Manly President Ever couldn't take it and stomped off stage when he got called out.
Broadcast these every day.

A lot of anger burst out on Twitter:
Barack Obama*, weekending at the private club he owns, announced executive orders of dubious constitutionality in front of a crowd of supporter-customers who booed questions asked by reporters.

Trump lied at his #TrumpPressConference [3] or I should say rally . Trump is trying to assault our democracy and intentionally spread misinformation. Trump is going rogue and heading down the authoritarian tyranny path quick . #TrumpFailedAmerica [4] pic.twitter.com/AXad012hzx [5]

With @realDonaldTrump [7] uttering the words “when/if I am elected,” his $hitshow of a press conference deteriorated further into a full-on campaign rally. @realDonaldTrump [7] has no shame. But then most people know this. #TrumpPressConference [3] #TrumpIsANationalDisgrace [8] #TraitorTrump [9] pic.twitter.com/HCHnYPsNVO [10]

You know how you know this is a rally and not a press conference? Attendees just cheered. That ain't how an actual press event goes. #TrumpPressConference [3]

THE
DEMOCRATS.
No, we “don’t know who they are”, so STOP using that asinine phrase.
JUST STOP TALKING.
We’ve heard enough from you.
All you do is LIE & CRITICIZE.

This is the third time in 2020 Trump walked out on his own press conference when a female reporter questions him. Childish and disgraceful—like the applause of Trump’s Bedminster cowards. Vote out Trump. Vote out Republicans. Watch Andrea Mitchell’s eyeroll. #TrumpPressConference [3] pic.twitter.com/vmWsXCp7pI [16]

Never thought I’d see a president bring his drunk golfing buddies to cheer at a press conference yet here we are.

Once again, trumplethinskin gets chased off the podium by a reporter who grilled him on why he LIED about passing Veteran's Choice, when it was passed in 2014.
WHAT A CHICKENSHIT LYING BEEOTCH.

Trump is blatantly lying about the Democrats’ bill and Joe Biden. He’s literally telling one lie after the other, because that’s the only way he can convince people to vote for him. #TrumpPressConference [3]

If Obama held a press conference announcing he was rewriting tax codes through executive orders, Republicans would be voting to impeach within the hour.

And this was quite the sight, Trump running away when confronted with facts:

And here’s a little fact-checking, which is a requirement alongside any Trump speech:
