Deranged Trump Loses It and Claims Joe Biden Will Hurt God if He’s Elected, ‘He’ll Hurt the Bible!’

Donald Trump finds himself campaigning in Ohio today and he is in rare form. He must be trying out some new campaign lingo that the highly paid consultants down at Trump Campaign HQ arrived at looking through metrics and testing.

Apparently the Trump campaign sees some daylight to exploit in the “God issue,” with honest, Irish-Catholic, faithful to his wife, Joe Biden. This morning, Trump told Geraldo Rivera that Biden was “against the Bible,” which caused even Geraldo to say that was a bit [insane] “strong.”

But that was this morning, back when Trump had a minder in Geraldo, keeping Trump coraled. This afternoon, Trump freed himself on the stump to really exploit God and call out Joe Biden on God in America. According to Mediaite:

“No religion, no anything,” Trump said. “Hurt the Bible, hurt God. He’s against God. He’s against guns. He’s against energy, our kind of energy. I don’t think he’s going to do too well in Ohio. If he did, we’d have a big story.”

There is little doubt that the people who talk the loudest about guns are often the same that talk the loudest about God. Maybe the Trumpers believe that if one is “anti-gun,” one also has to be “anti-God?” Maybe they believe the link is so strong that voters will buy it, even if the “anti-God guy” is the one who has gone to church all his life and prays the rosary and the “pro-God” guy is a porn star scratching, casino bankrupting, charity thieving, monster?

The Biden campaign hit this softball past Mercury:

Joe Biden’s faith is at the core of who he is; he’s lived it with dignity his entire life, and it’s been a source of strength and comfort in times of extreme hardship. Donald Trump is the only president in our history to have tear-gassed peaceful Americans and thrown a priest out of his church just so he could profane it – and a Bible – for his own cynical optics as he sought to tear our nation apart at a moment of crisis and pain. And this comes just one day after Trump’s campaign abused a photo of Joe Biden praying in church to demean him, in one of the starkest expressions of weakness throughout this whole campaign.

Right.

So there’s that. Trump believes he is going to beat Biden on “God.” Good luck with it, Ace.
