We have already covered several aspects of the upcoming Stephanie Winston-Wolkoff book Melania and Me due out on September 1st. The excerpts are getting a lot of coverage because Melania has been impossible to figure out, rarely saying anything beyond a tweet, undoubtedly written for her by a staff willing to do whatever it is she wants, no matter how bad it will look. Other than that, she specializes in trying to look like a badass model for whom a smile would be career death.

Vanity Fair has an article out that gets to the bottom of one of the most enduring Melania mysteries. Why the ever-living-fck would Melania wear a green coat with what looked like white paint on back declaring “I don’t care, do you?” as she went to visit kids in cages that had been ripped out of their parents’ arms and placed in the custody of the United States. These kids lived in conditions that would likely have child-protective-services visiting were it not a government institution.

In the aftermath of the incident, the media asked Melania why would any human being wear such a thing, with an unsaid question along with it, “What kind of human being would think such a thing?” Melania, being a Trump, put it right back on the media, saying that it wasn’t about the visit to the kids, it was a comment on the media’s focus on what she wore. It was supposedly a message to the media, “I don’t care what you think, do you?” which fooled no one but the people who believe she’s the new Jackie Kennedy. It was a little too “Trumpian.” In reality, she misread a situation, made a massive mistake, got called out on it by the people whose job it is to call out massive mistakes and instead of apologizing or saying she regretted it, she attacked the media, just like a Trump.

Now, with Wolkoff’s book, we get some of the truth and it sounds far more believable.

“I’m driving liberals crazy,” she told Wolkoff, according to the book. “You know what? They deserve it.” She added that people “connect stuff to my clothes” and that she wears what she wears “because I like it.” Fired up about the media, she continued:

“They all went crazy about the zero-tolerance policy at the border. But they don’t know what’s going on. The kids I met were brought in by coyotes, the bad people who are trafficking, and that’s why the kids were put in shelters. They’re not with their parents, and it’s sad. But the patrols told me the kids say, ‘Wow, I get a bed? I will have a cabinet for my clothes?’ It’s more than they have in their own country where they sleep on the floor. They are taking care nicely there.” She added, “Did Michelle Obama go to the border? She never did. Show me the pictures!”

Just when you thought you couldn’t possibly respect Melania any less.

Apparently the First Birther, Third-Lady, loves dividing the country as much as Trump. She did it to drive the liberals crazy? Maybe we should tell her that yes, her hateful attitude toward brown immigrant childred – as opposed to nude white young women immigrants – does drive the liberals crazy. Leave it to Melania to judge – she is very comfortable judging others – and she’s adjudicated that liberals “deserve it.”

Second, just like her husband, she’s lying through her damned teeth. These were NOT all kids brought in by coyotes. Many absolutely were ripped out the arms of parents and we know that because the administration told us, you lying scheming brat! Indeed, the administration had to reverse the damned policy because of the public outcry. So now Melania is revising history, or at least did at the time. Yet she tells liberals to educated themselves – just like a Trump, so self-satisfied. Not for nothing but the fact that she brought up “education” is awfully rich seeing as how she has little discernable education herself and lied about the education she never attained during a deposition.

Third, even IF the kids were saying “Wow, I get a bed,” (we know many did not get a bed because we SAW them sleeping on the floor), is that something of which we as a nation should be proud? Are we supposed to be proud that the richest country in the world cares this little about innocent children! Moreover, we suspect that if we talked to ten kids about which they’d prefer, “Stay with mom and dad and sleep on the floor, OR, get taken away from mom and dad and sleep on a bed” ten out of ten kids would stay with mom and dad.

We probably ought to remind everyone that Melania is an immigrant who was reduced to doing lesbian porn to make a living in this country. We are not going to judge her on that, any more than the men that watch it, yet you would think that it would lead her to have a much more compassionate attitude about the desperation an immigrant might feel.

Last, is Michelle Obama the measure? Melania stole Michelle Obama’s speech! Perhaps Michelle Obama never went down to the border because the Obama administration never ripped kids out of parents’ arms. Perhaps Michelle Obama never went to the border because she did a ton of other things that never occurred to Melania. Did Melania go to the border because Michelle ever did? It sounds like Melania is as obsessed with “beating the Obamas” as Trump.

We are sure it hasn’t escaped anyone here that Melania never gave a real answer as to why she wore the coat. “To drive liberals crazy” is not an answer, at least not one from a sane person. She has shown no awareness that it was offensive and wrong no matter how she has justified it in her mind. She doesn’t seem to give a shit as to how the message as taken by most Americans, no remorse that people got that impression. To Melania, driving the liberals crazy (“they deserve it”) and blaming the media is sufficient justification. If she’s the only one who “sees it” then screw everyone else, she’s the one that matters. That’s the attitude that comes across, anyway. Probably close to accurate, too. Very Trumpian.

We have said it before and likely will again. Melania is an astonishingly immature, spoiled rotten brat, who cares only about herself, has a very modest I.Q., no real education to speak of, lies through her teeth whenever needed, seems as consumed with money as Trump, and by all appearances cares only about herself.
