Trump and the GOP’s Response to Kamala Harris as the VP Nominee Shows They are SCARED and Have Nothing
As most know, Joe Biden chose Kamala Harris as his running mate. All things considered, it was a safe and solid choice, and yet it still brought tears to the eyes, a woman of color will be going after Trump and Pence. As conventional as the pick was, it still felt bold – and good. More than a few professional “cool-kid” analysts on TV choked up a bit, and appropriately so. It was a moment, one of what we hope will be many Joe Biden moments.
And so the natural response is to look at how the GOP or Trump might react “in the moment.” The answer is, they have nothing.
A hiding, diminished, & incoherent Biden didn’t just select a VP candidate, he chose the person who will actually be in charge if he were somehow able to win.
Harris’ radical policies may be popular among liberals, but they are well outside the mainstream for most Americans.

That’s the best they have. That’s the statement from the RNC Chair, Harris has somehow become a “radical.”

And Trump? Given all the time they had to prepare for this announcement, what is Trump’s message about Harris?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 11, 2020
Kamala Harris is a lot of things but “radical” isn’t one of them. She is more consistent in her pro-law-enforcement stance than Trump. Harris is far more “law and order” in many ways. She wouldn’t be out pounding on courts for pardons for co-conspirators, indeed she wouldn’t involve herself in the court process at all. There is no “law and order” attack that can stick to Harris, not from the Trumps.
Don Jr. made a bad decision, he wants people looking at which man makes women most uncomfortable:
YIKES!!!
Harris: 'I believe' Biden accusershttps://t.co/oBUzqh2b9Z
— Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) August 11, 2020
The single strongest response from attack-dog Don Jr. is to call attention to #MeToo concerns? That could well be a positive. We damned well do need to listen to women and if Biden made women uncomfortable, he should listen. Now, time to honor the subpoena for Trump’s DNA and answer for all the allegations against Trump because Trump’s accusers should be allowed to confront him.
And poor Eric, the self-owned one. He retweeted out before the actual announcement and managed to step on a rake, again:
Joe Biden is about to find out who his Vice President is – so exciting!
— Team Trump (Text TRUMP to 88022) (@TeamTrump) August 11, 2020
Nice job, Beavis. One doesn’t get to have a “Vice President” until one is a “President,” until then she is a “candidate,” not a vice president. My god he really is the dumbest one.
And here is the first campaign statement issued by Katrina Pierson. Boring! Sad!
Katrina Pierson, Trump 2020 senior advisor, releases first campaign statement on @KamalaHarris & it includes a misleading statement. "Not long ago, Kamala Harris called Joe Biden a racist and asked for an apology she never received," she says.
Harris never called Biden a racist. pic.twitter.com/wNXvokyU1j

There is a lot of new energy on the net, fully approving of Biden’s decision. The GOP and Trump have nothing on Harris. The Democrats are fully united.

Peace, y’all
