Trump Just Lost It and Turned His Presser into Gross Rally, With His Club Members Jeering Biden and the Press

No one knows why Donald Trump called a press conference today, nothing has happened in the world between when he left the stage yesterday and when he took it today.

One might note that having the press conference at Trump’s club allows Trump to bill the White House for all kinds of stuff, he can announce that he “rented” the club for the day, pocket the “business expenses,” and walk away having made $50k-$100K. Yes, that is selling the presidency on the cheap.

It quickly became evident that a lot of it was just to show-off again, one could hear laughter from the back throughout the press conference, like it was a movie. Trump was heard yesterday bragging to some of the club members about the press, “All the killers are there, wow. Now you’ll see what we deal with every day.”

So he might have called it to show off, nothing more. It certainly appeared so when Trump began the press conference by needlessly taunting the press, about “some of you even reporting correct,” it was a sign that the show was on. He was practically winking at the crowd in the back as he ranted about “stealing the election.” (An accusation he leveled at Democrats). People on Twitter immediately noticed that Trump seemed to be “on” something he wasn’t on yesterday.

One could hear laughter in the background as Trump went on about crying’ Chuck Schumer and Crazy Nancy Pelosi, as if this was soooo cool!

Trump again seemed like he was on something.

The event was far closer to dinner theater than it was a press conference. Trump called what was ostensibly an official event and spent the entire time giving his campaign speech, wailing about Joe Biden. Each time he got a bit crazier, some of his buddies in the back would start yucking it up and egg him on further.

Trump’s paying customers were laughing and booing Biden, it was disgusting:

Trump offered the pens used to sign the executive orders to his country club buddies.

By the time the press conference became a “press conference,” the audience was laughing and booing the press. By the last question – which was an important one about going around Congress – one couldn’t even hear the reporters speaking.

Trump did get nasty with CBS’s Paula Reid, and he eventually just called it, and left.
