Trump’s Favorite QAnon Candidate Called Charlottesville an ‘Inside Job’ and Suggested Executing Nancy Pelosi
GOP congressional candidate and 9/11 truther Marjorie Taylor Greene has written a pair of blog conspiracy theory-laden blog posts prior to running for office, Joe.My.God. reports. But these aren’t your usual tin-foil hat conspiracy theory. Nope, not by a longshot.
Instead, she hypes the widely debunked “Pizzagate theory” — that somehow, Democratic leaders are involved in some sort of human-trafficking pedophilia ring and also claims that the white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017, that resulted in one protester’s death was an “inside job.”
This may seem like harmless stupidity but Taylor Greene is hairy-scary.
She’s running to represent Georgia’s northwest corner in the U.S. House, CNN reports and made the comments in 2017 and 2018 while writing for the (fortunately) defunct website American Truth Seekers that was about as ridiculous as it sounds. The blog was rotten with conspiracy theories, including one that suggested the Parkland shooting was a “massive false flag.”
In the Facebook post below, Greene claimed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is guilty of treason and then wondered if Pelosi could be executed.
It’s worrisome that someone this deluded, who widely supports the QAnon conspiracy theory may occupy a seat in Congress. This absurd theory claims the “deep state” is working to overthrow President Donald Trump, who is purportedly trying to bring down an organization of Satan-worshipping pedophiles who have overrun the government and a number of elite organizations.
She also doesn’t believe the Pentagon was attacked on 9/11 and that three, instead of four planes were hijacked at the time. Something that she referenced during a November 2018 address at the American Priority Conference.
“It’s odd, there’s never any evidence shown for a plane in the Pentagon,” she claimed.
Even though there’s a truckload of evidence that proves her wrong. Hijacked flight American Airlines Flight 77 plowed into the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, killing 125 people in the building and all 59 people on the plane.
It’s sad that with all the credible evidence out there that someone can be this delusional. It’s even worse that she may take office if she wins.
