‘Unwell’ and Out of Breath Trump Stumbles and Accuses Biden of Using ‘Mafia Talking Points’ in Disastrous Presser

Trump stumbled terribly over the easiest sentence in the press conference today, the one he probably wanted to make headlines. He tried to say that during Biden’s speech today Biden “used Mafia talking points” and tactics. But it took Trump two attempts to get it out and he even slurred some words which left some prominent twitter analysts quickly observing that Trump looked particularly bad today.

Were that not enough, this comes the same day that Michael Schmidt’s book (NYT reporter) alleges that while Trump was rushed to Walter Reed last November, Pence was put “on standby” in case Trump needed anesthesia. The statement blows the “get a jump on his physical” right out of the water and is suspect in a few other details that will be fully covered later as we try to nail down more specifics. There are unconfirmed rumors – and ONLY that – that Trump had a “cerebral event” that sent him to Walter Reed. For now, those are only rumors and not substantiated and thus not the focus here.

These two stories; the stumbling over an easy sentence, slurring, red-faced, while looking like he’d been run over by a truck, as well as confirmation that Trump’s trip to Walter Reed was not for a physical and was serious enough that it worried someone in the administration that the VP might be needed, come as a serious blow to Trump. As we have reported before, American voters do not react well to health issues, especially with presidential candidates, no matter how minor. These do not “seem” minor.

Judge for yourself regarding Trump’s press conference issues:

He sounds like shit.

And it is bizarre that Trump, who has been accused of strong mob ties himself, would suddenly drop mob references against Biden, not asserting Biden ties, but getting it out there with the phrase “tactics.” Trump has a habit of accusing his opponent of things he’s done and also has been known to drop some truth in a statement, almost as if by accident and in denial with himself.

This was one weird press conference that will certainly raise more questions that will be tough to answer for the campaign. Recall Trump bragging about his cognitive exam … it is all odd.
