Americans Disgusted After Don Jr. Calls Joe Biden’s Son ‘Crackhead Biden’ on Glenn Beck’s Show
Well, this is just flat-out disgusting.
During an interview on Glenn Beck’s radio show on Wednesday, Donald Trump Jr. referred to Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s son, as a “crackhead.”
The comments came a day after the first presidential debate, during which the president falsely accused Hunter Biden of being dishonorably discharged from the military over his drug addiction. The accusation was false; although Hunter Biden did test positive for cocaine use during his time in the military, he was not discharged dishonorably.
While in conversation with Beck, Trump Jr. went after Hunter’s history of drug addiction, and also cited unsubstantiated claims about Hunter’s alleged connections in Russia. He said, “I mean, Hunter Biden, has now a tie, a direct tie to Vladimir Putin…and you don’t think they would use that over crackhead Hunter?”
The Biden campaign has not responded to this insult. However, during the presidential debate, Biden did defend his son’s record, reminding the president that his son was not dishonorably discharged from the military, and clarifying that he was proud of his son for battling addiction issues.

Biden said, “My son, like a lot of people, like a lot of people you know at home, had a drug problem. He’s overtaken it. He’s fixed it. He’s worked on it, and I’m proud of him.”

Twitter was absolutely sickened:
Wow. I hope every American who is struggling with addiction, or loves someone who is struggling with addiction, understands just how contemptuous the Trump family is of you and yours. https://t.co/1Cy4Jqxtej

This is how Biden spoke of his son: “My son, like a lot of people, like a lot of people you know at home, had a drug problem. He's overtaken it. He's fixed it. He's worked on it, and I'm proud of him."

The people who claim to care deeply about the opioid crisis have absolutely no problem going around smearing and stigmatizing people who struggle with drug addiction. This is gross. https://t.co/JKjM9jsMB1

Listen, I'm not an expert, just a guy whose been in the music industry for 20 years but as anyone who has spent time around people on cocaine would tell you:
Donald Trump Junior is clearly a cokehead. https://t.co/vDV5I0WEXP

Attacking Biden’s son for his past drug addiction is really really really stupid. Everyone has either struggled with substances or love someone who has.
I used to have a drinking problem when I was a teen but I've been sober for almost 6 years now. Does that define me? No. https://t.co/wJz2Xq0IwF
