Trump Denies ‘Sick’ Report He Wanted Daughter Ivanka to Be His VP, ‘Wrong and Totally Ridiculous!’

Yesterday we reported on the astounding fact that Donald Trump seriously wanted his daughter Ivanka to be his running mate in 2016 and it literally took Ivanka talking him out of it to get him off the subject. The anecdote came from the new book from Rick Gates, who worked on Trump’s 2016 campaign.

It is true.

Plus, at that time, Trump had no plans or worry about actually winning, indeed likely didn’t even want to win. He wanted some damned money and figured raising “campaign money” was a great idea because it couldn’t be that hard to steal. We all know that Trump is so damned enamored with Ivanka (we’ll leave all speculation at that) that he likely figures that every man finds her irresistible. It sounds not only “plausible” but downright “sensible” – as applied to Trump – once one thinks about it.

Today he says it’s all ridiculous, surely because he now knows it sounds ridiculous. He actually IS president now.

The report is out by the very Trump NY Post:

“Now Fake News @CNN is actually reporting that I wanted my daughter, Ivanka, to run with me as my Vice President in 2016 Election. Wrong and totally ridiculous,” the president said on Twitter shortly before midnight Monday. “These people are sick!”

Dude, saying you considered your daughter as a running mate is downright sentimental and sweet compared to saying that thing you two had most in common was “sex,” that she’s “hot” (at sixteen), and that if she weren’t your daughter you’d be dating her. We would be real careful throwing the word “sick” around as concerns Ivanka.

The Bloomberg article was based upon a book by Rick Gates, a man who’s already faced repercussions for lying about Donald Trump and has to know he’ll be sued in ten minutes for slander were it not true. Certainly, Trump will threaten to sue, but … he won’t, and everyone knows why.

But we have good news for Trump. It is actually not at all “sick” to think that Ivanka could be his VP pick. It is stupid “AF” (as the kids say), and embarrassing “AF” (as I say) but it ain’t sick.

Trump long ago covered “sick” when it came to Ivanka.
